There was confusion as there was a hostess stand and while I was waiting to get a table, people were coming in and the bartender was having them drag chairs from the hightop tables to the bar. So by the time the hostess showed up, there were no tables in the open area. They said if I wanted, I could sit at the other bar in the other restaurant as it was the same menu for both. If you weren’t a regular on game days you kinda got passed over. The bartender asked me for my food order multiple times. On game days there is a limited menu. I got the 5 cheese perogies with the sautéed onions and kielbasa sausage (when in Pitt…). It was really good and satisfying. Also had the Center Ice (mimosa using prosecco), very refreshing and light.

The waitress was terrible! She refused to wait on us because we got a drink at the bar. She served every other table but ours
Absolutely horrible
She should be fired for her attitude!!

Went in this afternoon before the Penguins game. The table was dirty and we had to ask 3 times before they cleaned it. I ordered the Wild Mushroom Swiss Burger which is supposed to come with gruyere garlic mayonnaise. I asked them to leave the onions off. It came with onions and without mayo. They also brought out the wrong food for my sister We had to ask after they served the food for them to bring napkins/utensils.

If the food had been good at least it would have been a decent price performer. My brother-in-law said the Reuben was good but my burger definitely was not tasty.

After the meal we went to use the bathroom which is in the lobby of the hotel. There was a line of at least 40 people waiting at the front desk. (It was 1:30 in the afternoon so I can’t imagine why there would be even a medium size line.) So apparently the hotel is poorly run too.

If I could give -5 stars, I would. Everything was terrible….from the service to the food. The waitress forgot several parts of our order multiple times, the food was inedible, and it really ruined our entire morning. I am extremely patient and will always be kind to service staff because I know how hard those jobs are and how much people can suck sometimes. I was out of patience and still quite hungry when I left. Do yourself a favor, get breakfast somewhere else. Even though the little that we received and ate was free, it cost me time and experience.

The atmosphere is nice. The menu and portions were very small. It left much to be desired.

Went in to get an app before an event at PPG Arena. Slow service and inattentive waiter. Solid pretzel though so at least two stars.

Waited almost an hour after ordering, then the manager came out and acted concerned and asked what we had ordered so she could check up on it. She was really trying to get our order because the lost it. Then they brought an appetizer that I would never order, to make up for our wait. I ordered a hamburger with Swiss cheese, medium, and received one that was rare and had american cheese. My wife ordered the Golden Coast Club without onion. Of course it had onion and only half had avocado. We couldn’t afford to send it back after over and hour wait and a concert to see. The worst part was the “manager” treating us like we were stupid. We didn’t penalize the waitress as she was hustling and the issue was not likely due to her. They should have been honest and asked if we wanted something while we wait. DUMB!

I ordered the “Pittsburgher” medium rare with a side of fries and a Vesper martini. The patty tasted like it was reheated from a preformed frozen mess, was well overcooked, and generally didn’t taste good. Fries were outstanding. The bartender made a horrible, watered down (literally) martini and charged me $15 for it.

Staff was friendly and overall service was average. Since the food/ drink was of such poor quality I won’t be dining here again. I would NOT recommend this place after my experience.

Have been here 5-6 times over the last 3 years and always get a great burger. Very busy bar scene and always packed before events at PPG. The menu is solid and probably underrated from other local hotel bar restaurants.

Stopped after the Pens game this past Saturday (4/23) and we were HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED! It was not the full menu, service was marginal at best, took three selections of wine to find one in stock and might have had a better burger at MacDonalds.
