I grew up in the Midwest and we went to Steak ‘n Shake regularly. I have been to this chain over 500 times in my life. The menu has evolved over time but still offers many great items. Order the double cheeseburger, the beef tallow fries and a shake! Our server was excellent. Friendly and quick.

I got half-price shake from happy hour. I got classic strawberry milkshake, the sweetness, thickness and the whipcream were perfect. I also got Bacon lover steak burger and fries. The burger was good, and I really love the fries – they were thin and very crispy. I also like their seasoning on the table. The atmosphere was nice, bright and clean. I got good service as well.

Went for the late night $5.99 burger combo. It was not very busy. The burger was fresh and delicious. Fries were hot and tasty. We were pleasantly surprised at how good the food was! The service was great too.

This is our favorite place to have shakes. Sunday through Thursday they have 1/2 price shakes and drinks between 2 – 5pm. The menu is very reasonably priced. Great atmosphere, of a 50’s diner. Always busy!!

We got the Wisconsin Butterburger and it was amazinggg!! So much flavor and the onions melt in your mouth. The fries were decently good, wish they had seasoning, but there’s seasoning at the table. We got the chocolate strawberry shake and it was amazing!! It tasted like real strawberries with drizzles of chocolate. It was a perfect balance. Also, the atmosphere is great! It is inside a casino, but Steak N Shake was so wholesome and a completely different vibe from the rest of the building

We took out the meals. It was packed! Looks like they are very popular for a Monday evening . The BBQ bacon burger was great. The chili dog too and the regular dog was really nice. The fries are the best! The prices are very reasonable. Next time I will eat in there
