I ordered my food and it was a single steak burger, and a peanut butter chocolate shake. They gave me the wrong shake, and when I told him it was wrong, they looked at me like I just spit in their face… And then we made my shake correctly and I told them I would take the one that they have, but I heard them discussing about giving it to an employee putting it in a freezer… These employees have horrible attitudes at the counter, calling out the numbers and giving food. Rude. And I can’t name them because they’re not wearing name badges. I also wanted to add them sitting right by the past and everybody who takes their food says thank you, appreciate it, they don’t say a word. They just shove the food towards them in Toronto and walk away… These employees definitely need some retraining if Corporate is paying attention. The girls name is Alex. The guy working with her is the rude one. I’ve literally counted 20 people get their food and say “thank you” to him and he doesn’t say anything ,but just pushes the food towards them, I’ve seen people asking for sauce from the kitchen and when he gives it to them , he doesn’t say anything and they say thank you he doesn’t say anything back… Horrible customer service. On a plus note, he is wearing a hair net.

This place had an affordable special on the street windon.. it was located in what is basically a food court.. the burger was a single with a soda and fries.. I think burger was too thin and over cook for my taste ..

Great burger and shake option if you want to get in from the heat on Fremont Street. The garlic burger was fantastic! I also got a free refill on my drink, but I don’t know if that is standard. I was nice and said please.

It´s inside the Casino which is always cool, very nice and clean food court.
Burgers are smaller than they look in the menu but their delicious, you can always fill them with fries and stack them hahah as seen in last pictures.
Fries are thin and delicious, kind of bizarre no other place has them. They give refills to your drink.
It´s right beside the Freemont Street Experience which is probably the main thing going on in downtown vegas.

Whenever I think of going to Steak & Shake, I forget that I’ve already had this experience. There isn’t anything special to the way they give service, the burgers are only mildly good, and the fries leave something to be desired. I have not tried any of their shakes but in the same instance, the employee working never seems enthusiastic enough to ask if I’d like to try one. And then I have to ask for napkins after receiving my order? C’mon now…

For my first time at a Steak n’ Shake, it was extremely disappointing eating here. Location-wise, it is perfect if you’re walking on Freemont, which is why we ended up here. I was looking for a burger joint, and I saw this place as a highly rated place to visit. When I saw there was one here, I figured might as well go since I had been meaning to eat here due to what I saw. I am not sure why it appears people like their food, but maybe this location is the exception to good food. The problem is that first impressions do count, hence I won’t be visiting another one and giving them a second chance.
First of all, the prices were outrageous, which is understandable due to the location, but that doesn’t make it acceptable when the food is not good.
My wife and I ordered a single and a double stack with cheese. The bottom of my burger was cold. The worst part was that the burger was super salty. I like salt, but this was beyond salty. It was borderline uneatable. I mean, I couldn’t even taste the meat, which is supposed to be good quality meat. To top it off, the burgers were small.
For sides, we ended up sharing the chili cheese fries which were on the smaller side, but they were at least OK.
The restaurant was pretty packed, so we figured it was good. Maybe we all figured it would be good for the same reason. To be for us, it just wasn’t good, nor feeling or cheap.

Oh, the BURGERS!!! The taste reminds me of my childhood. Flavorful meat, soft supple buns, and delicious pickles to pull it all together. Fries were yummy, and the shakes….wow! The chocolate peanut butter shake was heaven.
Side note- The person who makes the shakes has the worst job. They looked miserable to put it lightly, it looks exhausting. Be nice.
