This is not the Steak and Shake my parents took me to a a child. Now you order at a kiosk and pick up your food when they call your name. But it was still the same great steak burger and the same great fries. My husband thought his strawberry shake was excellent too. We plan to return to this location, the woman supervising the eating area was so personable. And the onion rings were good also. We are definitely going again soon.

We came with a larger group, so I expect wait time to be longer. I’m reviewing as in in the restaurant. Food ordered at 11:52am. Now currently 1:17 pm and still no food. “It’s being made,” I’m told. Three double steak burgers and fries is what I ordered for myself and my boys. But I’ve seen multiple orders with only steak burgers and fries placed after ours came out. Unacceptable. Please serve in the order in which they were placed.

So you have to order from a kiosk. You can’t order from a person,then the kiosk asked you if you would like to tip after you have place your order yourself and cashed yourself out. If you want a drink you have to scan your receipt at the soda fountain before you’re able to get a drink or a refill. We were having trouble figuring this part out and ask the lady who was wiping tables to help us and she told us she was too busy. Food was average at bes, burger was greasy and sloppy. Fries were good but cost extra for being cooked in tallow. Dining room was a little dirty.

I wanted to treat myself and Mom to some Steak n Shake since we haven’t had a chance to eat here in a while. I gotta say, the entire experience was HORRIBLE. We decided to dine in in hopes that our food would be hot and fresh, we were so wrong. The chili was cold. The burgers must have fallen apart on the grill and they thought putting cheese on them would hide it. I added lettuce to mine and it was so wilted I threw it away. Definitely will not be going back☹️.

Since most of them near me have closed, I haven’t been to SnS in awhile. I loved their chocolate milkshakes, they reminded me of the ones my grandma made at the restaurant. I was surprised how much they went up in price. Instead of ordering a $5 shake, I opted for the kids size which used to be a decent small size. I was handed a tiny plastic cup of practically chocolate milk, it was soupy. I returned it and asked them to fix it, and was handed this. Not much better, cup was only half full! Certainly not worth $3.49. Regular shakes used to be $2.99!!! I was told it’s not as thick because they don’t hand dip them anymore, they have a machine, which makes me wonder why they’re so expensive when they’re worse quality.
Don’t bother, they let their quality slide so it’s not worth the time or money. Dairy Queen has better milk shakes.

Really this is my fault. I should’ve gotten out of the drive-through line before I paid but alas, I didn’t and so I waited 45 minutes in drive-through for the three smallest chicken strips I have ever seen in my entire life. It’s laughable that they charged me $10 for these minuscule, barely-even-nugget-looking chicken strips.
To their credit, the staff were polite and did tell me in advance that they were short/staffed, but I thought that meant a little longer wait, not the entire lunch hour.
It’s no wonder all of the steak ‘n Shake locations are going out of business. I’ll bet this one closes in the next 6 months.

We stopped by for a work lunch. 3 adults had burger and fries for under $25. The fries are so much better since they switched to beef tallow.

Fast and tasted great. I haven’t been to a Steak and shake since 2017 due to the franchises overall decline in quality and cleanliness, but this location was very clean and fast. The food quality far surpasses any other fast food burger place I’ve had recently.
I’m glad I checked it out and the staff is doing a great job. I will definitely be back.

If I could give a zero. Drive thru was crazy slow. 15-20 miss with 4 cars in front. Finally got to the pickup windows and my order was not ready. Finally got our food, drove away and my burger was COLD. How does this happen. Also, not one thankyou.

We were able to get seated right away despite the noon rush. I had the Taco Salad for lunch. It was okay, have I had better, yes but not for $4.99. The service was prompt and friendly. This S&S location provides a drive through and a bar counter. It also has a couple of machines that will take your money in hopes of winning a stuffed toy. You pay your bill at the counter.
