By far the best place for a good steak in Louisville. The food was 10/10 and the service was exceptional, I can’t fault anything. The cook of the meats came out just as we ordered which we really appreciated, with the perfect amount of seasoning. The creamed spinach is a must!! As well as the Cheesecake!! Our server was very professional and made sure we were well taken care of, hats of to her . Definitely on the pricier side but worth it.

Met my friends here for cocktails and appetizers. This is such a lovely place. We did not have reservations, but the staff were very kind and able to accommodate us. Kingsley was our server and he was just an absolute delight. He was quick to the table with our appetizers and cocktails and quite engaging without being intrusive…we never needed a thing and never had to look for him…when we needed something…he was there!
The food here is phenomenal. For apps I highly recommend the steak and cheese hand pies- they are perfection! The bread with the butter candle is a nice touch. I’m definitely coming back for a full meal. This restaurant is doing things right!

We had a wonderful time this past Saturday at Steak & Bourbon downtown. From the moment we arrived, the ambience was beautiful, the restaurant was lively, and the live music set the perfect tone for the evening. It was the kind of atmosphere that makes you want to relax, enjoy great company, and savor every moment.
Our waiter, Nic, was absolutely amazing—very attentive, knowledgeable, and informative. He made great recommendations and ensured we had everything we needed throughout the night without feeling rushed.
The food was beautifully presented and delicious. One of our dishes (pictured) was cooked perfectly and full of flavor—clearly prepared with care and attention to detail.
Overall, it was an excellent dining experience from start to finish. Great food, great service, and an incredible vibe. This is definitely a spot we’ll continue to return to and recommend to others. DATE NIGHT VIBES

Our steaks were wonderful and the rolls were even better.

We had dinner here for our anniversary and this was the first time we had been to this location. We were amazed by how beautiful the restaurant is and how it is styled with luxury. We made a reservation and were seated immediately. The staff were friendly and made sure we were at the table we wanted. Our server was attentive and friendly. She explained the menu to us and offered us some suggestions. We ordered drinks and were given a bread plate with a beef tallow candle in the middle. It was not our favorite. The tallow had little to no flavor and the bread was not flavorful either and was somewhat hard. We did not order appetizers as our meals came with plenty of food. Once our food arrived it was hot, fresh, and outstanding! By far the best steak dinners we’ve ever had. We had plenty of leftovers to take home and also ordered a chocolate cake to go. The restaurant also provided us with a small piece of white cake for our anniversary. It was a nice surprise to an excellent dinner. The parking was in the garage next door and was validated by the restaurant. We will definitely return!

I’d skip this spot. We came in on a Friday night with a reservation, and despite the lobby not being busy and us arriving at our reservation time, had to wait about 15 minutes for our table. When we were finally seated it took an abnormal amount of time for us to get greeted by our server. Eventually got delivered bread with an edible butter candle which tasted good and was salty and buttery. The bar service was slow to get us drinks each time. I ordered the scallops and my boyfriend ordered the land and sea. The portions were super small for the price. My plate had 3 scallops and about an ears worth of corn, clearly they try to make it feel like you get more food, but corn is cheap so the price doesn’t match. My boyfriend’s steak could be classified as bites, one was under cooked and the other was over cooked. Overall the food was edible but for the price and service I would definitely look elsewhere.

From start to finish, our experience at Steak and Bourbon was excellent. The meal began with their signature bread served alongside a beef tallow candle. It was a really unique and perfect way to set the tone of what was to come. My steak and the wife’s burger were cooked to perfection, tender and seasoned just right. For sides, we tried the caramelized Brussels sprouts and the Philly-style mac and cheese, both of which were outstanding and complemented the steaks beautifully. The drink selection was also on point, offering a great variety to pair with the meal. Overall, Steak and Bourbon delivers on both quality and atmosphere. I highly recommended checking this place out!

This place was amazing! It was the first night dinner spot for a work trip and it did not disappoint. The butterfly candle really seals the deal but the truffle mac & cheese was heaven. I wish I could remember her name but our waitress.was great and made us all feel welcomed.
