Was looking for a good local barbecue joint while in town, and I think I found it. Excellent brisket. Brunswick stew that you could eat with a fork. The house barbecue sauce was a perfect compliment. Kudos to the chef. They have a cute little outside patio/ deck area with some tables to eat at as well. Worth stoping in.

Stopped in for the BBQ brisket and it was absolutely amazing! Perfectly smoked, tender, and full of flavor—the kind of meal that hits the spot after a long drive.
For truckers: this place is a hidden gem, only about 6 minutes from the Love’s truck stop. Way better than the usual fast food on the road, and definitely worth the short drive. Great food, friendly service—highly recommend!

Found these folks while passing through. The brisket is nice and tender a bit light on seasoning and salt though, the cheesy potatoes rock and they have nice crispy onions in the potato salad.
FYI it’s setup take out only, though they were building outdoor seating.

Only reason I gave a 4 for atmosphere is cause I can’t sit with you and enjoy this amazing meal. The brisket is juicy and tender. No sauce needed. Sitting in the parking lot right now enjoying this food. Thank you Statuon 7 for the good food. Never had bruinswick stew before but it is amazing. Especially if you like BBQ sauce.

As I arrive the smell of cooked BBQ hit me and my mouth watered. The inside layout was simple yet very functional. I decided to order the brisket. My first mistake. When he laid the brisket on the butchers block I saw a what appeared to be perfectly cooked and rested brisket. The giggle it had was perfect. I wanted the cheesy potatoes and Mac n cheese but was out of the potatoes. I understood it’s lunch rush. I got my plate with a sweet tea and it came to 25 dollars. It’s a lot for lunch but it was 3 slices of brisket. No complaints there. Now where everything fell apart. The brisket was juicy and tinder. But the flavor….. there was non. I tasted the oil the brisket left but not much else. So though let’s try the Mac n cheese. Surly it will be good and I can just eat the brisket with that. Nope the Mac n cheese was dried out and horrible. It occurred to me that the 25 spent was lost. Wished I would have gotten some BBQ sauce! Went to take a sip of the large sweet and it was burnt. The tea was bitter and horrible. This was a massive let down cause upon arrival the smell was sooooo good! Not no chain BBQ smell but one you go to a cook out for. Next time I’m in Albany I will give them another shot. Maybe I came in on a off day. Everything about this place screams that it should be great. Next time I come in and if it’s as good as it smells I will update this review. And I prey that it is. South GA needs a good BBQ spot and non of the chains are doing a good job.

First time trying today, and everything we had tasted great!! Super friendly workers, just a small FYI it is just a walk thru line, but they do have outdoor seating. You get a good quantity for the price. The pork, the brisket, cowboy beans and cheesy potatoes was what we tried and all were great!! The raspberry chipotle sauce is also awesome! If you like good BBQ, you outta give them a try. We will definitely be back.

Maybe I went in on the wrong day and got the wrong thing. It wasn’t the worst but far from the best. The wings were soggy , the potatoes were pretty good, and the coleslaw was different. Next time I’ll try a different order but it will be a while
