We stopped in on a busy Sunday morning, a little wait but worth it. Very friendly staff (fun to see the father/son duo), and the restaurant turned the tables quickly. It seemed to have many locals dining there, so you know it is good. Great portions and gigantic cinnamon rolls! The truck stop vibe and restaurant are next to/attached to the gas station.

Hang with the locals at this quintessential truck stop diner. All your usual favorites done right. They open at 6 and are open on Mondays when everything else is closed in town. The perfect post weekend stop. Try the biscuits and gravy or the crepes depending on your savory or sweet craving.

The service was friendly, welcoming and unobtrusively attentive and the food? The food was home-cooked delicious and very reasonably priced. I had a side of bacon that was thick-cut, prepared just right and enough to share. The French toast was so much better than found elsewhere, and the scrambled eggs were real eggs prepared to be light and fluffy. I was thrilled with our experience. It was a great way to start another day of traveling. Thank you!

Waitress got our order wrong and we even double checked with her, our meal was almost over before she even remembered to order the bacon, food was not up to starving Arvin expectations I eat at one every weekend, the cinnamon roll was tiny and tasted like baking soda just an awful experience, didn’t even finish my meal

Great breakfast food for the family with large portions. Bring your appetite. I had the bacon, egg cheese omelet (all gone), husband had meat lovers omelet (all gone), 3yo had 2 pancakes (1/2 gone). The cinnamon rolls are huge and very yummy. We will be back.

Always stop there when we came to Fruita. They are well known for their big cinnamon rolls. Had one today…so old I could not hardly poke it with my fork. Disappointed that they now serve 1 to 2 day old cinnamon rolls. Probably won’t go back for a long time. Did mention it when we paid our bill. They didn’t seem real concerned.

I used to eat here 30 years ago and have told everyone they had the best biscuits and gravy I have ever had. We returned today and yes, it is still the best I have ever had!!! My wife said that her breakfast was very good as well. The waitress was by herself but provided perfect service and was very friendly. The place looks older but the food is great!!!

Amazingly good food and service for a gas station restaurant. We weren’t impressed when we first walked in but then the people seated us and served up real good food. I recommend the BLT and onion rings.

Food was delicious and service was great. We had no room left to try their desserts, but I’m guessing they would be good too. Well worth the stop!

Simple, good, food.. didn’t try their famous cinnamon rolls but people were ordering them. Don’t let the convenience store shy you away from trying it. Well worth a good no frills hot meal.
