So at first I was a little skeptical based on one car being in the parking lot at 3pm. However, once inside and ordered, it worked out perfectly.. it became very full in a matter of minutes.. the dish that my wife and I had was simply amazing… the staff was very polite and friendly.. the food again was delicious.. highly recommend…

The restaurant is a little old but the food is really good. The place is super clean and the service was really good. One of the pictures is from the bandeja, which my kids did not even wait for me to snap the picture. The empanadas were freshly made. I had the cazuela and it was delicious.

This place is a hidden gem!! if you’re looking for authentic, traditional colombian food, you should look no further. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, staff always make you feel right at home, and the food is incredible. the entrees can be a little pricey, but the portions are HUGE and the quality is 100% worth it!! I feel like I’m back in Medellín every time I come in 🙂

What a hidden gem for delicious Colombian and Latin food! They served our empanadas in the most adorable little gift boxes that I’ve never seen anywhere else! All of the food was flavorful, and we enjoyed our refreshing passionfruit and guava juices too. Our one critique was the shrimp in garlic sauce – it was very oily and was more of just straight minced garlic than a sauce, but that could just be us not being used to the way this dish is served. We have nothing to compare it to, just for our preference we probably wouldn’t order it again because of how garlicky and oily it was. Otherwise, this family-owned business is charming and we would definitely come back for another authentic meal. We went on karaoke night when they had a very talented Colombian singer! I also hear they have a great brunch, so we’ll have to come back!

Nice place. Food was excellent. At first I thought a bit pricey, BUT not at all. Food was amazing.

The starter was excellent but the rest was not close to other Columbian restaurants that I go to. The pork was deep fried in stale oil and the flavor of the other food was bland. Except for the steak, which I must say had great flavor but was very thin and more like a minute steak cut.

Everything was delicious and freshly made. Generous portions. Definitely recommend the beef empanadas and and the fried fish with plantains. Enjoy your meal with one of their juices, I personally like the passion fruit one.

Outstanding Colombian bistro in East Haven. Enjoyed a very well prepared set of typical dishes well prepared with nice fresh ingredients including a highly recommended Bandeja Paisa platter, jugo de guanábana, empanadas de carne. The service is outstanding. The restaurant setting is very simple no nonsense probably too simple for a Michelin Star but a restaurant well worth a visit.

I love Colombian food and this restaurant does it well. I had the Bandeja Paisa, which is a mixed grill. My favorite part was the chicharron (pork belly). It had a lot of fat, with the skin nice and crunchy. Just the way it should be. I also had a beef empanada, which was excellent (really good dipping sauce) and the Colombian beer, Águila, which was refreshing. My waitress, Jenny, was also very nice and enjoyable to converse with. I will definitely come again when I’m in New Haven.
