We had an excellent all-around experience at Stark’s Alpine Grill, which is located within the Viewline Hotel in the Snowmass Mall area. Having a trail race tonight, we stopped by beforehand for some hydration, then returned later for dinner after the race. The food, service, and atmosphere out on the deck were all outstanding. We will definitely be returning.

This restaurant, right inside the Viewline Snowmass hotel, is excellent. Ate here for both dinner and breakfast and tried most of the things on the menu. Everything was delicious with the highlights being the sizzling shrimp appetizer and the house salad (I know, an often overlooked highlight but it was delicious).

Technically the WINE is from before the dinner at Viewline hotel lounge (we wanted to go to little mammoth but it was closed so we ran back to Starks for dinner) and we loved the overlook to the valley, sitting next to a fire.

Nice patio! Service was sub-par. Food was mediocre . We went for dessert but the Bolognese sounded too yummy to skip- we were there about 8, which maybe was too late- we were the only people on the patio and what looked like very few people inside but our service was pretty bad. We went in to order drinks about 10 minutes after ordering our meal. They never cleared all the dishes from the people before us, but did move them around. the skillet Cookie was great.

If you are looking for great views, good food and a very friendly atmosphere this is your spot. Could not have been more pleased with our experience at Starks. Thank you for the wonderful service!

We have been here two nights on our trip to Aspen/Snowmass. It is the best meal we have had since we have been here. The filet was perfectly flavored. The wait staff was attentive, hardworking and nice. The manager paid a personal visit to all the tables in the restaurant. Overall great food, great experience!

Disappointed. Only had dessert. I did. see the food and it looked good, but the dessert was not worth it. The skillet cookie was barely warm. It should be warm and gooey. It wasn’t what it should be for the location and price. The service was good.

This was quite possibly the worst dining experience ever. I should have known to run, but being NYE we didn’t have many other options. I had made an 8:30pm reservation over a month ago then when we checked in I was told it’s now a prix fixe menu and the regular ala carte menu would not be available. I questioned why I wasn’t made aware of this and was told it was emailed to me. I checked my emails and didn’t see it so perhaps it went to spam, but don’t you think jumping to a $235.00 per person menu is worthy of a phone call?!

We were a party of 6 on a Tuesday night celebrating a birthday. It is important to note this is the first review I will have written on a dining experience given that we (my family) is a highly forgiving group, most having worked in the service industry ourselves so we usually can empathize.

Ski in Apres spot after a wonderful day of skiing this weekend. DJ was playing bopping house music, drinks were delicious, private firepit for our table. This is A+ Apres for those looking for a more party/European feel. Expensive, but worth it.
