A Heartfelt Thank You to the Starbucks Staff!!
I don’t usually write reviews, but I felt I had to share my experience at this Starbucks. Based on the google street views and retracing my drive, I think I am writing about the right Starbucks.
I was driving from Katy, TX to NJ, and after starting my trip at 2 AM, I finally stopped in Louisiana around 6:30 AM feeling completely exhausted. I went into the store barely able to keep my eyes open. When the barista asked how I was doing, I told her I was sleepy and needed a strong coffee. She kindly suggested a latte with an extra shot of espresso, which turned out to be exactly what I needed.
I sat down to rest, sipping my coffee and feeling a little more human. As I was getting ready to leave, I went to wash my face, and when I came back, the same barista handed me a small bag of cookies for the road, wishing me a safe trip. It was such a sweet and kind gesture, and I was really touched.
Later on, when I opened the bag somewhere in Tennessee, I found not just cookies, but a mix of nuts & raisins, rice cake, and an energy bar. It felt like a mom making sure her kid had everything they needed to keep going in this situation — such a simple, caring & thoughtful gesture that made all the difference. I couldn’t help but feel grateful, and honestly, a little emotional.
I never got to thank her in person like this, but I’ll never forget the kindness she showed. Thank you for such a moving experience and I wish you well in whatever you do. You made a long, tiring trip just a little bit easier. God bless you!

As a restaurant employee, it’s important to pay attention to detail. Like when someone says, “I’d like a matcha latte but with non dairy vanilla cream.” Kinda implies either I don’t drink dairy or I CANT drink dairy..to then only get a 10$ drink that’s filled atleast half way with whip cream. The employees are great but it’s so busy in there they need more employees or just a better teamwork system. && yea the picture included the drink is almost empty as are my bowels from the dairy. I order atleast a couple times a week since the non dairy lavender matcha came out && ive never had this happen. Whip cream doesn’t even go in a latte… ♀️

20240327 I called before coming to pick up a Louisiana Been There mug. The young lady who answered the phone was so nice and helpful. Getting to this location was not easy, not just because of traffic, unless you are making a right turn into the Starbucks parking lot, it is impossible to left left. I took the risk of driving on the other side of the road in order to make the left turn. Fortunately, the other drivers were so nice and didn’t honk. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by 2 separate baristas. I was immediately helped. The baristas at this location are amazing! Especially since I stopped in a Starbucks in Mississippi hours before and they didn’t even acknowledge that I was there. Thank you for making me well so welcome!”

I love this location but I’m disappointed with the egg nog latte. It used to be really good and then it was gone. The one they have now doesn’t compare. I’ll still be back but I won’t order that one again.

Very friendly staff and very clean. The food is blah but that’s not the fault of the staff, that’s on Starbucks. Very clean restrooms which is important to me because I work in the field and don’t have an office to go to.

The food is, as always, extremely pricey. $6 for a ham and cheese croissant is pretty nuts. This location is probably the best one in 2 exits in any direction.

They are a solid four-star. Our wait time was a little too long for not really having much of a crowd but not too bad. My brownie was really good, and my daughter said she really liked her tea. The store was clean and the staff very polite and nice. I would go back in a heartbeat. Good spot.
