I have no complaints on the food; it was delicious. Mr. Chow really needs to improve their “made-up” policies that make it unappealing for solo diners who deserve to have a wonderful experience as well. It is Miami Spice month in Miami which is a great time to try several things on a menu to experience new restaurants. I was told because I was dining alone, I could not do the Miami Spice menu. I was told they have a 2-person minimum to order off the Miami Spice menu which was not advertised anywhere before my visit. I then asked to order the appetizer Walnut Shrimp with a side of the mushroom sauteed rice as I was dining alone. I was told I could not order an appetizer and a side item to go with it. I was then forced to order $50 noodles to go with my entree. I wanted rice. Just because someone is dining alone, does not give one justice to make up policies to ensure they spend more money. The restaurant is losing money because they now don’t have a happy costumer that would return. Let people order what they want off the menu so they can enjoy their meal and frequent the restaurant more often! If you let everyone, not just families, enjoy what they want off the menu, it’s a win-win.

Still one of my favorite places in all of Greater Miami! On the other hand, it seems to have gone downhill a little since the pandemic unless we were just there on an off night or something. The setting and decor are absolutely beautiful and the staff super friendly and attentive. However, I confess that the food did not seem as flavorful as it used to be, and the flower arrangements are nowhere near as extravagant and breathtaking (maybe they changed florist or it’s just off season?). The thing that I have to say bothered me the most, though, is that some patrons seemed to be treated better than other. For our table, the team only brought a wine list……. but we noticed that they wheeled an elegant champagne cart to their tables and offered a special list etc., for example. Not sure what that’s all about and why were didn’t get the “full experience,” but I didn’t appreciate it!

I ordered takeout from this restaurant and was taken aback by the hefty price of $80 for what turned out to be a disappointingly small portion of food. While the flavors were passable, the lack of value for money left me questioning whether it was worth the expense.

Food is average but prices are crazy. $56 for a small serving of chicken that was not very good. $16 for non deveined shrimp fried rice. Get ready to spend a lot of money for mediocre food. Food at Panda Express is better. Staff was nice but food not so good.

I almost choked on the duck we just ordered. It came with a flower tortilla like wrap. They did a good job of making me hate duck from now on. I feel nauseous and sick from it. What a shame.

Good is the word, nothing amazing. The selection isn’t an ample one. We had some dumplings, prawns, veggie rice (not on the menu) and the main duck. The service was very attentive, overly attentive yet we asked for our courses to have a pause in the middle and it arrived just as we were finishing the starters.

Great service. The staff is very attentive. The food is flavorful. I was a little disappointed in the food the waiter suggested for us. Because it was our first time there, we had the servers help us pick our dishes. After it came out, we figured they chose what was least costly for the restaurant to serve. At least the restaurant trained them well. We should have ordered the hand pulled noodles. It looked fabulous as they were making it for another table. Their coconut cream cake is amazing!!! The food and drinks here are pretty pricey for what it is.

Like many of the other reviews, the ambiance and service were both great. However, the quality of the food doesn’t come anywhere near justifying the exorbitant prices. Most of what we got was average at best. I will say that the dumplings were very good. The crispy beef was wayyyy overdone and not good. Everything else we had was just average. There are way better dining options in Miami Beach.
