We just happen to be passing by and decided to stop for a bite to eat, and I am so glad we did. The food was excellent, The atmosphere was calm, but the service was above and beyond. Joey was knowledgeable about the food and the restaurant and demonstrated excellent hospitality. The focaccia was fresh out the oven. We ordered the lentil soup, gnocchi bolognese, and the dirty pig panino. Highly recommend.

Mandola’s Italian Kitchen is a chain of 10 restaurants that operates in Texas and Florida. The chain is loosely associated with Carrabba’s Italian Grille (the same founding family) and brings hot and fresh Italian food in a manner similar to fast-Italian restaurants such as Fazoli’s but with much tastier and better prepared foods. The restaurant also has a fine selection of Italian deserts. The only downside is that it can be pricey, in fact, as expensive as the superior dining at Carrabba’s Italian Grille itself. If time is of the essence, Mandola’s is a great choice. One other thing to note is that the. Tampa Road location in Oldsmar seems to close to early; sometimes as early as 9 PM.

If you have not been to Mandolas, I highly recommend. Their food is great, they are really fast for a sit down restaurant and prices are very affordable. I really like their fried zucchini and chicken marsala. My family has had several of the other chicken dishes and pasta dishes and they are all great. What I like the most is definitely their fast service, you can be in and out in 30 minutes. They also have a very cute covered patio where you can eat and enjoy nice weather.

Extremely disappointed. Salad was so full of black pepper I couldn’t eat it. Told waitress but wasn’t offered a replacement. ordered Saturday special of braised short ribs on mashed potato. Mashed potatoes were watery and also full of black pepper. Meat was covered in black pepper. They need to warn people on the menu – particularly with the salad. There’s a reason most restaurants offer black pepper at the table. My $58 lunch was inedible.

Delicious!! Highly recommend , don’t forget to look at the specials. Had melt in your mouth beef brasato on Saturday.
Filling focaccia with great crunch, small cute sangria slush, and had good chocolate gelato (ate too fast for pic). Can’t wait to stop in again when visiting my family (a local favorite).
Wonderful staff – extremely helpful and kind! Lots of space to sit (inside, outside or bar). Water & fountain drinks available.

Always delicious and such an incredible crew. The grilled salad is my favorite and my husband always orders the chicken marmalade with the $3 upcharge for extra sauce because its better than my Grandma’s (don’t tell).

Was hoping it was good and guess what, it was. Found this local Italian restaurant with a good menu and wonderful sausage and bell pepper. Gotta try some of the pastries and coffee as well.

First time here it was AMAZING!
Went during lunch. I had a personal margherita pizza and a cup of minestrone.
Absolutely everything screams awesome Italian here.
My new fav Italian restaurant.

We had a great experience visiting for the first time. It felt like an Italian Bistro in Italy. They have several menu items from pasta and salads to Gelati and cookies. The staff is attentive but the concept is a little different. You order and pay then you sit down and a server handles the rest. I love the food, the atmosphere and the music. They have daily specials and serve lunch and dinner 7 days a week. Go for the pasta, stay for the Italian cookies and pastries. Yum

We called in for a carryout order, and the staff answered promptly. They estimated a 20-25 minute wait, which felt a bit long, especially since the restaurant didn’t appear busy when we arrived since we pulled up within a minute of calling in the order. However, the food was ready just five minutes after we got there. While it was strange that they overestimated the wait, I appreciate the caution in avoiding underestimating the time. The total was $19, including a small tip, for one serving of spaghetti, which we found a bit overpriced for the portion size. The food was tasty, but given the price, it’s tough to justify coming back?
