The atmosphere is very comfortable, and the staff are warm and welcoming. It’s super cozy — perfect for hanging out or working while chilling. Totally love it! ❤️

This morning my coffee and two pieces of lemon loaf took 23 minutes with only two people in the store.

I arrived and the floor was completely wet and dirty.

I ordered, and my coffee came within five minutes.

For some reason the lemon loaf too almost another 20 minutes. That’s because all the workers were scrambling to fulfill the orders of customers who weren’t even present.

The manager or perhaps district manager was standing around mumbling and laughing at something they said. They looked over at me and finally got me the rest of my order.

HINT: If you’re upper management, and the service is that bad, please pretend to mean, and say you are “sorry for the wait”. They didn’t say this once. For the price point they ask, the service should be better.

The manager (how ever high up) should be retrained. Clearly they are out of touch of what to say to customers.

The Starbucks on Clayton consistently falls short due to poor store management. The closing times listed on the door and on Google are rarely accurate — it often feels like the manager decides the hours at random, which creates confusion for customers and frustration for employees.

The store is frequently understaffed, and it’s clear the team is working hard under difficult conditions with very little support. I’ve noticed tension between staff and management, which reflects a lack of leadership and communication.

The manager should recognize that employees are human beings who deserve understanding and a healthy work-life balance. A little respect and better organization could make this store a much better place for both customers and staff alike.

This Starbucks is one of the dirtiest I’ve ever seen. The tables were covered in garbage and food, and this was the cleanest part of the store. Behind the counter, spilled milk coffee and full of people made it even worse. I didn’t want to order anything but it was too late.

Hours are random and incorrect. Sometimes they’re open at 6, other times at 8, sometimes they close at 11am, other times 3pm. Unfortunately the Starbucks app doesn’t know this so it lets you place orders that cannot be picked up.

Plus, unfriendly staff when they’re open. Unfortunately not a ton of coffee choices in the immediate area, but I’d recommend driving a little longer and going anywhere else.

Great location in a great part of town with lots of parking, although a busy lot. There is adequate seating and this is a large and normal rectangular Starbucks. A few outside tables as well. The problem is, they just don’t know how to STAFF! Some days they are so understaffed like today a Sunday afternoon that it seems like it took everybody 20 minutes—that is outrageous when there’s not much of a line. And management needs to have extra staff who can step in as needed. I think there were other workers there who were just on break—which you can’t do when you get a busy rush in the afternoon. Some people have lots of time to wait, but many people are on their way somewhere and might give up coming here again. These delays and mistakes are costing you thousands of dollars a week. The kid who took my order made three mistakes and I only ordered two items. Management needs to train people and needs to supervise people so that it doesn’t feel like such a messily run store. You have a premium location. You can sell a ton!! Take a lesson from Chick-fil-A, they would do quadruple the business you do on this location. Maybe 10X.

I visited the store on 12/29 around 10am and immediately noticed how cold it was inside. I noticed all customers wearing their coats while sitting. I finally asked the staff to turn the heat on in the store. I stayed at the store another hour or so longer and it never got warm. I got fed up with the temperature and left.

Baristas are so friendly dispite harsh working conditions. Manager ivory is so rude and unapproachable. You can tell her baristas are uncomfortable in her presence and honestly I hate asking her for anything. Never a smile never a response just walks away and maybe does what you ask. She shouldn’t be in management at all

COMMUNIST STORE. Do not spend money here!!!!
I went there for a long time and today the baristas invited the Communists of America to stand in front and harass people. I asked them to leave me alone and they said the baristas wanted them there and they had every right to yell at me. I asked the employees and they agreed. I WILL NEVER GO TO THIS PLACE AGAIN. Additionally, Starbucks claims they do not support political activity or allow their stores to be used for politics. Starbucks Frontenac is a COMMUNIST store and the employees all participate in COMMUNIST activism AT THE STORE.

Edit: Starbucks answer is evasion, at best. I contacted corporate and the first person literally hung up on me once they knew what I was notifying them of happening. Then the second contact they gave me some typical polite BS and said they would get back to me. They never did. Starbucks fully supports COMMUNISM in the US.

Edit2: I tried to contact Starbucks corporate. They completely shut me down. No return contacts, not even a form letter e-mail. IMHO Starbucks has become a communist foothold. Do not spend money there as they do not work in a capitalist system.
