In town from North Carolina in December and I had to stop by! I’m an Other Half fan so when I saw this store was was right by Rock Center, it was a must do. It’s a small place but they still had a good variety on tap. (I only had a few beers, over two visits, so cannot really rate the Food, so I will give it a 5 if you call Beer, Food).
One minor complaint: I came in one night at 9:45PM after rushing over from another event – and despite the hours posted as “Closing at 10:00PM”, the beer guy said he was already cleaning the taps – and I could only get cans to go.
“But I just want one quick beer”, I pleaded. “Nope, sorry”, he said.
If you are going to close at 9:45, then say so. If you are going to close at 10PM, then don’t close at 9:45. Or have another sign, “Last beer served at 9:45”. Otherwise, it’s kind of rude and annoying, if you ask me. What do you think?
Other than that, highly recommended.

They have flight but I recommend just getting the small pours of your own choice since the flight means bartender will choose two of four. I recommend nectar diamond and pineapple headband. Their all citra is always good too.
Considering how pricey their beer is, you could do much worse at other bars as long as you don’t mind the primarily IPA styles.

Very lively place with great beers. I enjoyed the Breakfast Taco American IPA and the Green Flowers American IPA. The first being a bit stronger and hoppier in taste and my Fave! Friendly staff too.

Forever ever nice to start. No controversy here. Refreshing. Can really feel yeast is well alive unlike sterilized canned beer.
Also had higher alcohol content alike Double Nectaron Daydream with 8.5%. Felt the buzz. Deceptively tasty. Chic drink? Nope unisex well-liked for most tastebuds.
Also had dark one. Not universally liked. Texture syruppy. I liked it. Quite different but others mixed reviews. No wander bartender offered tasting before ordering for 4.
The place does have TV, so possibly watching MLB playoff. But more of midtown place to hang out after work.
Got really crowded. Tough to get table, seat or even standing room.

Had a great time with the whole fam – good hazys, a great vibe, nice seating options based on what you are feeling.
We were sitting there with a little kid stomping around with dinosaur toys and not a single person batted an eye. Really good vibes all around.
Friendly people inside from the staff to the patrons.
Would highly recommend if touristing around the area or if you are just touring the city looking for great spots to enjoy a pint.

First time in this location and we loved it. The IPA’s are outstanding and the sour was great too. The place isn’t that big, but they spread things out nicely. Great overall vibe and even better beers. If you’re anywhere nearby, do yourself a favor and stop in to Other Half.

Solid brewery near Rockefeller Center! I like how it’s tucked away from tourist spots. The space is way smaller than the one in Domino Park but plenty of beer options to choose from. If you’re a hazy IPA person like me, this is your place. Most of their drafts are IPAs. Had the Cheddar and Big Citra Vibes, and the Cheddar was my preference, a bolder profile than the Big Citra Vibes. No food available but you can bring pizza from next door or any other outside food. You can also buy beer packs if you’re not planning to drink it there. Definitely a great spot to catch up with friends or go on a date!

Love OH beers so was excited to try their new taproom at the Rockefeller Centre.
Had 3 incredible TIPA’s and loved that they offer different pour sizes so you can try a few beers without having a sore head.
Visited for the last 3 years. Great taproom with quality staff
The prices were great for the quality that you get and the staff all were great and made sure the beer was pouring for us both.
