This café is one of my favorite places to relax and enjoy a great cup of coffee. The drinks are always fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The environment is clean, modern, and very comfortable, making it a perfect spot to study, work, or meet friends. The staff are kind, attentive, and always greet customers with a smile. Hands down the best Starbucks in the C-U area. I’ve never had a bad drink or food experience there. All of the staff members are so sweet and friendly. I usually order ahead on the app and even when I get there earlier than the time frame it set, my order is always ready. I was sad when it was closed down for strike but fully support them. They deserve everything they are asking for. (This review is inspired by me getting the best brown sugar oat milk shaken espresso I’ve ever had there this morning. S/O to whoever made it. ✨)

Genuinely the best Starbucks I have ever been to because of the staff. They are incredibly welcoming, friendly, and value warm service. I’ve been to dozens of Starbucks across the country, but the staff here make you feel like you’re at a mom pop cafe with the service they provide. They are incredibly efficient, polite, and genuinely enjoy their jobs.

Inconsistent service. Some baristas are really great, some not so much. Very kind, good drinks. It may just be a matter of training and how much practice certain shifts get. Today, I did a mobile order for a drink with foam. I appreciate the wait to put it together until I get there. However, I did the mobile order because I was in a rush. Multiple baristas proceeded to ignore me for a couple minutes, so I started pouring my own drink. Then, I got some passive aggressive acknowledgment. It’s fine if you’re busy, just let me know if you intend to pour my drink or not. I didn’t get the pumpkin spice on top of my chai. It hasn’t been a great day overall for me, and this didn’t help.

If you order ahead, the employees will be rude, passive aggressive, and attempt to make you feel bad for using the app because apparently ordering at the window gives them more time to prepare an order? A very relaxing Starbucks to enjoy a drink. This place is busy, mainly takeout and drive thru. Normally, my drinks from Starbucks are warm even when I order in person. This location was perfect, not too hot or warm, when I picked up my drink. Customer service is excellent. Bathrooms are clean. There are plenty of tables available during my visit.

First time at this Starbucks location recently. Lots of outdoor seating and plenty of indoor seating as well.
Staff are nice, attentive, and quick like they are at all other locations. Ordered the Iced Green Peach Tea and it was delicious!
Will be back to this location for sure.

The Pike Place coffee was old and cool. We waited 30 minutes for a chocolate chip cookie. We’d already received our drinks and were almost done, so I said, “I’m still waiting on my cookie” The blonde lady rolled her eyes, and replied, “Yeah, I know. We’re getting there, hon. I haven’t forgotten ” There were 2 other customers already seated inside, and 3 cars had been through the drive through. After another 5 minutes, I got my cookie. I wish I hadn’t tipped them now.

Update: on 02/05/2025 my backpack knocked against the ladders stacked against the wall by the chairs and I was scared that the ladders would fall over (see photo). Very unsafe location to store ladders.
Also ALL of their tortilla chips were expired dated October 2024 and December 2024 (it is currently February 5, 2025). You’d think that’d be someone’s job to go through the stock on hand. Yes not very many people likely buy tortilla chips at Starbucks but for the food selection that is available, that is so tacky to have like 4 month old outdated stale chips and sell them.

Overall impression: Have been going there for years and seen a significant decline in service speed over the years
Pros:
-some of their employees are super friendly
-I love the new personal cup option of bringing your own cup. You get 10 cents off and you earn 25 bonus stars!
Cons:
-the drive thru is pretty slow here. I don’t know if they are understaffed but it’s a recurring issue
-this location is sold out of items a lot and seem to have a problem with ordering enough food and drink syrups etc
-the parking lot is a dangerous driving area if you’re not paying attention. It’s squeezed into the shared lot with Wingstop and not much navigation room
-this location doesn’t have ice water on their menu so you can’t order it ahead with your mobile order like at some Starbucks locations
-many many times here I have had sandwiches not warmed up enough and served lukewarm. Like ice cold in the middle.
-I have been given the wrong items before in the drive thru for mobile orders
-sometimes it tastes like drinks aren’t made correctly at this location where they are watered down or almost all milk and not correct proportion of ingredients.
-in September 2024 I had a spinach breakfast wrap and it tasted spoiled
-they often forget siracha packs if you order them for sandwiches so be sure to check the bag before leaving

-not much room for the drive thru lane so cars often extend into the street blocking traffic
-you may want to call ahead of time if ever going there in afternoon or evening because many times this Starbucks location closes early without posting the hours to Google etc because they close early on random unexpected days, so many many times I’ve driven there only to see it has closed early
