I don’t usually go to this location due to location and convenience. The drive-through line is usually extremely long, but can’t fault them for being in a high-traffic area! I was looking for my Starbucks fix on Christmas Day and this location was only local store that happened to be open. I placed a mobile order, which is always a great decision, especially considering the usually long line was doubled; however, the service inside was quick and efficient! The barista that handed me my drink was friendly and my order was made promptly and accurately. They were very busy, but everyone had smiles and had orders moving along quickly. I really recommend the double-smoked bacon, cheddar, and egg breakfast sandwich- so delicious!

I really get irritated and upset when there’s chucks of matcha powder sitting on top of my ice matcha and all I taste is Milkkkk then there’s so much Ice the matcha isn’t a rich green like the pictures on the menu board! They need to do better! $16 bucks for 2 iced milk cups! Boy I’m done with Starbucks and I can’t wait til Dunkin’ Donuts open! Their matcha’s never MISsss!!!

Bro I went through the drive through and asked for a protein matcha they gave me milk and flavoring like what… I poured some of it out thinking it was like foam but then I just realized there was no matcha or anything.

This location is hands down the best not just because they have great service but the baristas are phenomenal. Queen Bella, Karyntor, Sammie those girls really rock out, from greeting you as soon as you come in the door to remember your exact order. I love them and you can’t forget about Peter he is just so sweet. !

Great experience at 6:30am. I ordered 3 red cups and he was just as excited as I was to get them. The man at window was happy, positive, and great at his job. You made my day! I thanked him for starting my day off right. 5 stars to Starbucks location for hiring positivity. Customers need that more than ever.

Walk to the register, stood there for 5 minutes while 5 employees surrounded it and NO ONE greeted me or said “we will be right with you”, NOTHING. Then finally the employee BELLA took my order and after asking for her suggestions on a particular drink I tipped her when I cashed out, even though she wasn’t that pleasant. Then I waited 30 minutes for my drink. I didn’t complain because they were busy so I let go. Once I finally received my drink, I thought it was made good so I went back to say THANK YOU and the employee BELLA didn’t even acknowledge that I was talking to her! Everyone else replied back to me but her so she blatantly ignored me for whatever reason, when all I was trying to say was thank you. Just VERY RUDE. I’m actually mad I tipped her.

Alina is awesome. The drive through was around the corner. So I decided to go inside and I ordered the caramel ribbon venti. Alina took her time to ask me what I needed because I wanted to get extra crunch in my frap she asked, ” do you want me to put caramel around the side so the crunch will stick to it?” and I’m like oh my gosh your the best. Just the sweetest nicest young lady thank you ❤️

CASEY – YOU ROCK!
This location currently has a great staff who knows how to make a friendly and welcoming environment. They serve up some great espresso and smiles. A must-stop if you are in need of either of those.

I visited the Starbucks at 12 Mile and Gratiot and was really disappointed with the service. I waited about 10 minutes in the drive through with only four cars ahead of me. When I finally got to the window the first thing I was asked was if I wanted to leave a tip. I have worked in the service industry my entire life and I live off tips, making five dollars an hour or less plus gratuity. I understand what it means to earn tips, but when someone is already making twelve to fifteen dollars an hour to work a drive through I do not think it is appropriate to ask customers to tip, especially before they even receive their food or drinks. It is not only rude, it just feels silly.
After paying I had to wait another five minutes before someone even came back to the window only to ask me what I had ordered because they forgot. When I finally received my order I did not get any napkins and there was no apology for the long wait or the mix up.
Between the 15 minute wait, the forgotten order, and the lack of basic items like napkins this location really missed the mark. Definitely not the kind of service that makes me want to leave a tip before I even know how the experience will be. I think I’ll drive-through need to reconsider asking for tips Altogether or if possible at minimumbefore customers receive their food.
