We visited on Friday evening just as the dinner rush was starting. Our server was very friendly and efficient. It is on open concept however the booths are roomy and offered enough separation the noise level was not at all bothersome.
We ordered our drinks and the onion dip appetizer and that was very good. For entrees we got the SOB burger and meatloaf sandwich. Both were very good and hand made patties.
We had intended on ordering desert but were too full to order anything. Still had leftovers to bring home.

Upon arrival, we noticed their hostess/seating procedure is very inefficient and unorganized. The group before us was told they didn’t have room for their party and was told they would have to wait. They stood in the way and looked over menus, all while blocking us from getting to the host counter. By the time they went outside to wait they came right back in 30 seconds later. After finally being able to speak to the hostess, we were told it would be a 10 minute wait. There’s not really a waiting area either. A couple of minutes later, we were seated at a table that had been clean and empty when we arrived. But once we were seated, the service was better. The food was definitely the highlight of our evening. The brisket nachos were loaded and very appetizing. The kids enjoyed their meals and we enjoyed the prices of them. The Cuban sandwich was also very tasty and filling. I cannot emphasize this enough, don’t skip the fries. They were fantastic! All in all, we would come back for the food for sure.

The food here is ‘fine’. It’s not bad, it’s not ‘oh my goodness I have to go there. It’s fine. The BBQ is good, the Mac and cheese is good. They have a kind of ‘bar’ at the front of the place where people can sit sort of ‘outside’ but they’re looking inside the restaurant. This visit, someone was sitting there blowing their vape smoke/vapor all into the restaurant. Our waitress was nice.

First time at Bill’s and I have to say it was an all-around good experience. Easy to find on Main Street. The dining room and bar was expansive, welcoming, and comfortable. The Hostess and serving staff were very friendly and efficient. We placed our orders and our meals arrived quickly and hot. The brisket was flavorful. The bark was thick and heavy on the salt but the flavor did soak deep into the meat. The meat itself was a little overcooked, making it tough and stringy. My guess would be it’s probably from trying to keep it warm enough to serve. The half chicken was delicious, well seasoned, juicy, and tender. The skin was a little chewy, some parts inedible but the meat was perfect. The ribs were similar to the brisket. Great tasting but a little tough. The sides were pretty good. I really enjoyed the corn pudding and the black-eyed peas. The mac & cheese was forgettable. The potato salad was soupy to the point I mistook them visually for mashed potatoes. Bill’s certainly wasn’t bad at all, but there are local competitors who can do it better.

Visited family in High Point. Great being able to sit outside! Must be short staffed as we waited a long time to get someone to come to our table. Forgot to provide tableware to eat. Brought after food was served. Oh well. We got the ribs. They were good but needed a sauce, forgot to bring that too…would benefit from more sauce choices. The original pork sandwich was good as well as burger with pimento cheese. The sides were a little scant. Slaw was served in a ketchup cup! Sweet potato fries were good. Liked being outside.

My first time at SOB’s was last night (2.28.26). I got the tortilla chips and dips starters, the brisket, baked beans and the cucumber salad. The brisket was amazing even w/o the side sauces. Got rhw caramel bundt cake too. Everything was great. I definitely recommend this restaurant as a former culinary chef. I have to give a s/o to our waitress, Sarah. She was super attentive, kind and professional. SOB’s give that woman a bonus! . I’m definitely coming back -Matty

This place was great! It hit all the right places. Atmosphere, great service from Shelly, and the food was so good. Even my eleven yr old daughter stopped in the middle of her meal and said “ this is amazing “ . We will definitely return and try more of the menu!

This place is awesome! Had dinner here for the first time with a friend this weekend, and really enjoyed the experience. The food was excellent: the cheese curds were piping hot, fresh, and delicious, and I could eat those every day. I got the cowboy sandwich, and when I say I’m picky about brisket (I grew up in eastern Texas, where it was a way of life), that’s an understatement. I really, really liked their brisket: it was flavorful, tender, and they piled it on that sandwich to the degree that I was shocked – and happily – about the amount of brisket for the price. Fries were good, and the baked beans were awesome. I really don’t have a single complaint about the place, other than that if you don’t like noise, weekend evenings are probably best to avoid. I will definitely be back!

The seating process is a bit hectic. We waited quite a bit for a table even though it was pretty slow. We really enjoyed the food, especially the brisket nachos and fried brussel sprouts. They were out of a couple items and the service was lackluster but ultimately we come for the food, so we will be back.
