I placed a mobile order for in-store pickup, but the parking lot was a disaster and completely congested due to the recent snow. I couldn’t find a single spot, so I went through the drive-through to explain. The woman on the mic—Liz, an older woman with short purple hair—was dismissive and rude, telling me there were “tons of spots” when there clearly weren’t.
When I got to the window, her attitude was even worse. She spent the entire time “mean-mugging” me with a nasty, miserable energy. If you are that unhappy in a customer service role, you need to find another job before you upset the wrong person. To top it all off, after dealing with her ignorance and unprofessionalism, my order was completely wrong.
Shame on Starbucks for hiring such a miserable person who can’t even get a simple order right. Save yourself the frustration and go to the Starbucks in Target.
