Great new location! Yummy as always.
Our fav: Chicken Fajitas, Rice and we love the chips! Not too salty and not too hard. Can’t wait to try all the new salsa flavors.
…other reviews have mentioned not getting enough chips. They are a hot commodity! Worth the wait in our opinion!
We arrived around 4 pm on Wednesday and within minutes 6 other groups of customers came in after us. They were hustling to keep us all happy! Kudos to everyone. It was nice to see the staff teamwork and smiles. Way to go!

A really nice Mexican restaurant with more authentic style of cooking. Given the fact if you’re used to Nevada and new Mexico style I feel this is right on. Pleasant staff and friendly. Try them if you’re by paris landing in paris tennessee!

I’ll start by saying the food is awesome! Which is the only reason we gave it a second chance. The service is painfully awful. Both times we have been there we have had to ask for drink refills and chip refills multiple times before we ever get one. The first visit, they were pretty busy so we just chalked it up to being short staffed. Gave it another try last night and service was worse than before and they were not busy. Had to ASK for chips AFTER we got our cheese dip. Chips are served with a huge bowl of salsa and about 12 chips. Had to wait forever for the server to come back by so you can ask for more chips, and a box, and a bill. Lots of standing around and very little service unless you ask for it.

Their food is very good and the service as well. This is our third time here and it was as good as always. The place was packed, but they were ready to serve us quickly and with a great attitude. Highly recommended!

The most bland Mexican food I’ve ever had the misfortune of eating, and very spendy. The best part was the margaritas and for the price of the margaritas I could have bought 2 bottles of tequila. Three margaritas were 50$. We will definitely stick with El Vallarta.

I think this is the best Mexican restaurant in the area. The food was excellent and the portions were huge. I will definitely make the drive from Patis to Carmelitas when I want Mexican food from now on.

This is absolutely the BEST Mexican restaurant not just in the area but in the state! The owners and staff are amazing and care about what they serve and how they serve it. I’m extremely picky when it comes to food, and a restaurant of this caliber is unheard of in this area (sadly). So if you’re in the area this is a must stop. Everything I’ve ever tried has been fabulous and the margaritas are delicious, and a welcome addition given you can’t get liquor by the glass in neighboring Stewart County!

Got the Carmelita Nachos, they were delicious, and quite plentiful. Everything on the menu sounded fantastic, and everything delivered to other tables looked as good as what we enjoyed. Will definitely be back

Visiting KY lake and decided to eat lunch here. They had several employees working, no wait to be seated and food was quickly served. Waitresses asked several times if I needed help. It’s nice to eat somewhere where they’re happy you decided to eat there.
