I have consistently had issues with this store. It’s to the point where I don’t even bother going to this location anymore because I know something will go wrong. Typically, I go all the way to the Murray location even though it’s much further away because I know I will never have a problem there. I went on Wednesday to redeem the 50% off cold drink offer, after carefully reading how to redeem it which stated I could order in advance on the app OR tell a barista to add it for me when I order. I went to the drive-thru to redeem. I told the barista when I ordered that I had the 50% off discount code in my app. By the time I got to the window they had decided that I had to order ahead of time in the app in order to redeem, and told me I would have to cancel my order and reorder in order to take advantage of the offer. Not only was that not true, but they would not back down. Really strange how they choose how to be difficult for no reason. Lesson learned.

I visit Starbucks in general very frequently like 3-6 times a week. Almost ALWAYS use the app to order ahead, I usually go to the one closer to my home, they know me and what I order and how i like it. I have however visited this location quite a few times, when I’m closer to this 1. Honestly i feel as though it is hit & miss with this location. My most recent visit I was like I’m going to go inside to order and explain what i would like, they had it done quite quickly despite the drive through always being PACKED. When i see it, i think to myself this looks like dark caramel and i had asked to substitute dark caramel for regular. (Which they do charge for) I go to my car and debate for a minute whether I should say something or not, i HATE confrontations, altercations, and/or making people feel bad or me being an inconvenience. I ultimately decided to go back in. I politely ask the worker that prepared it if it was in fact dark caramel and she says”no, um, no, i mean yes, yes it is” i apologized a few times and say oh ya I actually wanted it substituted for regular and it says it on the sticker and she goes mhhm, so i hand her my drink and she informs me she can’t take it back so just give her the sticker with the order details and to throw the frappe away in the trash behind me( I’m guessing they have quite a few incidents where ppl say it’s wrong but still want the messed up one also, and they don’t like to let them??) I say oh, ok. No problem. However She did seem frustrated, turned to her coworker and said would u make this drink, the co worker agreed, grabbed my sticker and made it. But the barista now making it also seems a bit bothered and i watched her make it and it didn’t seem made right either, She hands it me, i apologize AGAIN and say thank you. I taste it and it doesn’t taste right but at this point I just don’t want to deal with another interaction with them so ultimately i just tell my dad he can drink it.

This is not a bad Starbucks, but the employee that took our drive thru order was not very cheerful, very “i hate my life” kind of vibe. And then we get a lid without a middle hole, but a demented hole by the rim, coffee ended up all over my husband because of it. Not a huge issue but a heads up or a new lid would have been nice, the girl even saw it spill all over my husband.

Ordering a medium pumpkin spice frappe add white mocha. Couldn’t even tell the right name of the sizes because their menu in the drive through has NO DRINKS. Was told it was $6.31 (that seems high) and given no receipt. Hard to order anything with no menu, and unsure if I was charged correctly due to no receipt.
