So we came yesterday and we ordered a ribbon crunch but they had run out of the crunch crumbles so Blake told us to come back the next day and he would hook us up for not having the crunch that day. Hi, we visited this Starbucks this evening and I have to say it was a pleasant experience. We had a long day on the road as we are traveling to Utah for a weeding and happened to stop by. I don’t often go to Starbucks so I was excited to receive this order. The drink was lovely, but my Turkey, Provolone, and Pesto on Ciabatta was subpar. Mainly because it was missing the provolone. I’m sure whoever made it simply forgot but I was excited to try Starbucks after not having gone in awhile. Regardless, the service I received was exemplary.

Blake was super friendly which is always a great way to start the day! Food was perfect, drink was perfect. What I wanted to share is what I witnessed – a woman picked up a mobile food order and took it outside. She then came back in to say it was the wrong food. The barista pointed out there were 2 different orders for the same name and the woman realized she mistakenly grabbed the wrong one. The barista then threw out the one the lady brought back in and made a new one for the next customer. I want to point out that not all places do that….some just take the food back and put it on the counter. Thankfully this barista did the right thing (and the healthy thing).

I came this morning with a mobile order for a decaf shaken espresso with vanilla sweet cream cold foam. When I got my drink, there was no cold foam and the drink was way too sweet to have been made with normal milk. I went back through the drive thru and explained that I thought the drink was made with vanilla sweet cream rather than normal milk and vanilla sweet cream cold foam. They remade my drink, but were quite short with me. When the barista handed me my new drink, she had a smirk that made me uneasy. When I tasted my new drink, it tasted way too strong to be decaf. My husband doesn’t like the taste of Starbucks’ decaf, and when he tasted it he said it was definitely caffeinated. Not only did they make my drink incorrectly the first time, they (on purpose or not) made my drink incorrectly the second time. This was around 7:30 am, there was no line or rush, and having been a barista myself for many years, I was kind and very understanding with the first mix up. I have health issues where I can’t tolerate caffeine well, so getting a drink that wasn’t decaf is a huge issue for me. Horrible service, extremely unkind actions. If you made my drink wrong the first time, you apologize and take extra diligence to fix it correctly, period. Not okay.

Every day I order a vanilla latte with Almond Milk. I pay extra for the Almond Milk. Nearly Every DAY they make my latte with Regular Cow Milk! Bleh!!!! Gross! On the days they make it correctly, it is wonderful. But those days are very few and far between.
