I went in at 945pm(15 minutes before close) on April 7th and ordered a Venti Caramel Frappuccino. Instead, the baristas(irritated I was even there 15minutes before close) made me a créme Frappuccino while whispering that I was so rude for even coming in at that time and they weren’t going to make more coffee because they had already poured it all out and I probably wouldn’t even notice there was no coffee in it(I did and I heard you). I paid 6$ for a creme frapp when I needed coffee! I understand time is money but I came in before close and paid for a drink I did not order while the baristas mocked me. My time and money is valuable too!! Not that it was there bussiness but I had come in that late because it was the only Starbucks open at the time after I had just left hospice care for my grandpa, I also work full time, am a full time student at the UofA and I am a mother. My time and money is valuable too:). To put it shortly, service there is TERRIBLE and those baristas should be fired, as they do not care about the brand or company they work for and mistreat their valuable customers(I’ve been going to Starbucks everyday, sometimes 3 times a day for the last ten years).

They are always out of various syrups. They dont accept cash. They cant scan QR codes on the app for rewards and the line is never shorter than 20 min long. I would prefer to walk off campus to my car, drive to another one and come back to campus than go to this one again.

UNBELIEVABLY slow Starbucks. The line could be out the door and EVERYONE – managers/ supervisors included – move with the urgency of baked sloths. Actually verges on the bizarre. They clearly think their mainly student clientele just won’t complain, maybe that’s true. Regardless, this place is insulting.

Typical Starbucks, but long lines and very slow, even for a simple drink like tea. Normally the server would make tea, but here the barista does, and you have to wait until they finish all the fancy drinks before yours. I waited 15 for a simple cup of tea.
