This Starbucks at Oak Brook mall is always crowded – though I appreciate that they put in a window to pick up mobile orders to relieve some of the congestion. This is not a Starbucks you go to to linger, it’s very get in/get out.

I waited for 20 minutes for one drink. They forgot about my order while not making any other orders and then asked if I was an online order after 15 minutes. There were over 5 workers that were laughing and goofing off when there was a line of 20+ people waiting, and only two workers were actually making drinks. I found it highly inappropriate that one of the workers HAD THEIR AIRPODS IN and was doing nothing to help the others and was just standing by the door. As an employee at a restaurant I am HIGHLY aware that is extremely rude and inappropriate to have Airpods in while speaking to a customer. When I finally received my ICED drink it was WARM. After everything stated above I will not be returning to this location and I expect better. DO BETTER OAKBROOK MALL STARBUCKS!!

As a manager myself in the service industry I was extremely impressed with with Krystal & Elija. These young ladies definitely caught me by a pleasant surprise today ! I went to Starbucks twice today and I honestly wish all the young ladies had Krystal & Elijas upbeat personality. They just made the atmosphere pleasant to walk into and their recommendations were definitely a hit . Although they were busy they still took the time out to make customers feel welcomed . That’s rare ! Definitely cherish these 2. Krystal definitely has GM qualities and shows strong leadership skills. I seen that today while the store was extremely packed and still was able to have customers feel appreciated. Elija is simply a sweetheart. Thank you both for making this location beat all others .
