Always busy, always speedy happy service. But if you order a hot drink I do not believe they are checking them temp anymore. Mine is scaldling hot, burning my hand (and tongue) through the java jacket for 15 minutes after it was ordered. Hot scalded milk is not the same thing as frothed milk. This place deserves your business. but they need barista training on hot drinks. And maybe this is in response to people ordering in advance or delivery and complaining about cooled drinks by the time they got it. But for dining in, I was not even able to drink my drink with my food before I had to leave. But the service and quality of the food is what you know and expect and I have no complaints about that. I will be back, I just will not order anything with any milk in the future.

This Starbucks location has a friendly staff, clean interior, and your order is filled in a timely manner. This location is right across the street from ECU’s Life Sciences and Biotechnology building. Ample parking though if you part in front of the building you may be blocked in by the drive thru line. Great place to stop and very convenient for ECU students.

I came through the drive through at around 12pm today. Very few people were in the drive through, maybe like 3 so there was no rush. I ordered a venti hot white chocolate mocha. It’s the one thing I can order and like, and that I can tolerate after my taste changing because of Covid. I pay my almost $7 for my coffee and go home. I can’t drink my drink because it’s so hot and so I didn’t realize until I got home that I had a $4 hot chocolate. I tried calling for like five minutes and nobody picked up. I’ve had so many problems with this Starbucks in the past, I’m past the point of returning. Save your money and time and go to a different Starbucks.

They apparently close at 9:30 as they threw away my drink that I ordered, and instead of choosing to do the thing that makes sense, which would be remaking it, they suggested to reach out to the delivery service for a refund. Really good customer service that.

Pleasant & fast walk through with my service dog getting coffee and a pup cup to go. The cashier was accommodating giving me time to type my order on phone to show her. She got 3 out of 4 letters via ASL when she asked my name for the cup, the attempt was pleasant actually.

I’ve been coming here every morning for a while now either before work or with my dog through the drive through! Everyone here goes out of their way to offer amazing customer service (and accommodations), and it does wonders for my social anxiety and medical condition where communication can be hard sometimes! And even my dog loves the special treatment with her pup cups and all the compliments! Such a great team at this location! And even better coffee!
