We visit the Starbucks on Boston Road in Springfield Massachusetts often. We like the ice coffee drinks here, as well as the baked items. The people working here are very friendly and attentive. They always do a great job!!! Give them a try!!

On January 21, 2023 I paid $11.17 for a cup of coffee and some condescending attitude from the manager who took my order. As soon as I paid for the order he told me “you’ll have to wait I need to brew more” with the most condescending tone you could imagine. Not the best way to talk to your customers. I walked away and waited 10 mins and then asked if it was ready he then condescendingly told me ” well, you asked for no room, so we have to brew more”. I guess I’m not supposed to ask for what I pay for? Nor communicate if I need room for cream?

I have no idea… Absolutely no idea why oh why this location is always so behind. We wait in line 15 to 20 minutes everytime. For simple orders. I was so excited to only have a few cars today… Nope took 8 minutes to advance one car *sigh* my daughter and I have cycled through so many possible excuses… Maybe it’s bc they are a newer installation and they are working out the kinks, maybe it’s a certain time of day, maybe it’s covid staffing shortages… At this point it’s absurd and we are going to just drive to east Longmeadow or Ludlow because when we have we end up getting home sooner even going to a different city. That’s sad. 1
