Star diner is not changed much over the last 15 to 20 years . Still have large portions that are reasonably priced. Good selection of lunch and breakfast options without being overwhelmed with choices . Looks the same as it did 15 years ago but clean. Tables need some work as our booth top was clearly slanted and pulling away from the wall . Service is friendly and the food came out quickly. Tried the cheesy potatoes for the first time , not bad but not great . Ordered the chicken and waffle. Well priced at under $10 . The chicken tenders were great but the waffle was doughy in the center but still tasty . I would advise letting them sit on the waffle iron for just a tad longer. My wife for the Philly . The bun is not toasted which quicky became soggy and made the sandwich fall apart , toast the buns and you will have a better tasting sub that will hold up longer . The fries are hand cut and outstanding. Over all a 4/5 . Will be back for sure .

Good food. Came out super quick huge plates. No wait time for us. Plenty of parking.
*Edit* 10-14-23.
They no longer have homemade jam for your toast. Some of the food came out cold and at different times. we didn’t get our home fries right with our food And when they did bring them out they were supposed to have onions on them. So instead of taking them back and cooking they just dump some onions on them.
Omelette was just mixed up eggs with bacon and cheese thrown in. Not really an omelette at that point.
Kind of disappointing this time.
Biscuits and gravy was super super salty as well. So that had to go back.
Waitress was friendly.

It was a busy place. We sat for 20 minutes before we had a waitress take our order. We got breakfast. The potatoes were very over seasoned. The sausage gravy tasted like citrus. Everything else was ok

This diner is considered a family friendly restaurant. If you call waitresses wearing very low cut black shirts with their large bosoms being displayed as they wait on you a family friendly diner, it is not!!! I was so embarrassed in front of my children. Cover up you bosoms and maybe then it could be considered a decent diner. Will never eat here again!!!!

The food is awesome the breakfast meat is fresh and amazing and huge! Portions are huge and delicious. Price is on point! The best part are the employees. They are all so nice. They remember my mom and treat her so kindly every time she comes in.

It was me and my wife first time eating at the Star Diner thanks for our good friend that actually mention to us about Star Diner is a very good place for breakfast and other meals if not a breakfast person, we will definitely go there again the next time where in town. The service was excellent and atmosphere was great as well. We were glad that our friend had suggested the Star Diner!

Breakfast is pretty much always good here, but then again, kinda hard to mess breakfast up. Yet, they do and did, at least for my wife’s breakfast. She ordered the Avocado toast, most of it was good or ok really, and I understand that today’s generations don’t hold quality nor expertise in high regard, it’s more about getting it off their station and out of sight as fast as possible, being the primary priority. That said, it’s no wonder her poached eggs came out less than poached, mostly still clear albumen, not sure it even reached a safe edible temperature. And, the bowl of smashed avocado was perched on a piece of wilted, soggy lettuce leaf, now that’ll excite your appetite-not. Wish I’d have taken a picture but I didn’t think of it until the plate was gone.
They seem to do a decent job for the most part, but not consistently, and the failings are almost always in areas once considered paramount to good products and services of which seem to be somewhat of a nuisance to the younger generations. One could say that these failings fall onto management, and though I don’t disagree because a simple solution would be to install a quality person to check the plates before they go out. However, from what I’ve seen, you’d have to do some very extensive training of that person to duly educate them on quality and expertise, because chances are these paramount concepts are non-existent with them.

Stopped for breakfast. Nice casual atmosphere. Food was excellent. Recommend their thick cut bacon as well. It actually lives up to the term “thick cut”. Service was wonderful from all the staff as well. Very reasonably priced as well.

Service was okay went to sit in and eat and a guy in the kitchen named Jim. Very disrespectful to all the girls. And the food was very mid. I hear the owner allows this Jim guy just do what he wants and disrespect everyone because they are friends. Definitely not okay one bit.
