I frequent this location at least once a week, usually with customers for business meetings. I went today and the cleanliness looks to be a huge issue. The toilets had mold in them and looked like they had not been cleaned in weeks. The drink machine looked to be growing mold. Both these things make me wonder if management cares about employee hygiene or keeping the food area clean. Makes me wonder what the kitchen looks like. Since I’m pregnant (and grossed out) I will definitely be taking my business elsewhere.

Was looking for some good comfort food, and came here around 10:40 on a Tuesday morning. It was surprisingly busy with patrons at tables looking like they were in the middle of casual business meetings and conversations. I ordered on the tablets and got my food within approximately 10 minutes. I ordered the half and half bowl of broccoli cheddar soup, and half greek salad with a baguette. The broccoli cheddar soup was tasty as usual, but the Greek salad didn’t have a lot of dressing on it, and it was a bit plain. I’ve never gotten a consistent salad at Panera, so maybe it was a lesson learned that I need to stop ordering salads from here; and not just this location, any Panera location. There was a girl behind the food counter that looked like she overall didn’t enjoy being at work and did not smile once. The guy who put my plate out seemed nice enough, but quiet. I noticed the girl who worked the front counter was very engaging and pleasant with everyone that approached her. Tables were clean, drink station was clean, and ample outdoor seating. I’d be back, again.

I was looking for something quick and healthy to eat, and landed here. It was a Monday afternoon and the place was practically empty. The cashier was semi-friendly, and made me feel hurried to order something. I ordered the Greek Salad, Mediterranean veggie sandwich, and a bag of chips. I was given a pager and told to pick up my order from the window when it buzzed. I went to find a seat, and most of the tables were dirty with food, napkins, leftover plates, or crumbs. I was surprised because there were only a couple of people in there besides me.

I would have given this particular location a zero for atmosphere because it’s filthier than a truck stop bathroom. I work close to this location and have stopped coming here because it’s gross. Trash is always overflowing, it doesn’t look like they have properly cleaned the iced tea dispenser in months and the men’s restroom had feces on the walls in both stalls, the toilets and urinals had black mold in the like they had by seen a brush in forever and no soap at both sinks. I typically judge the cleanliness of a restaurant by how clean their bathrooms are. If the bathrooms can gag a fly then I hate to imagine what the kitchen looks like. I think it’s time for some serious corporate intervention. If you can’t staff enough people, at least make sure the place is clean. People are understanding that the service may be slower, but you can’t cut corners on cleanliness.

This was my first time here. The food is very subpar. It amused me the sign that reads “lovingly crafted” because the employees are all grumpy and rude. Tables were filthy. After reading other reviews, not so sure I’ll be back.

Whatever you are paying that man Mitchell, double it immediately. I drove through Chesterfield Panera expecting average service and was met with the most impeccable, heartwarming, soul-uplifting service I have EVER encountered from any restaurant ever. Mitchell, you are a gem. Keep it up, and demand a raise.
