If you know anything about me, I love Bread Co! I especially love their restrooms. Today’s visit to the Chesterfield location was a little different. This location is relatively newer yet, I don’t think the bathroom is laid out very well. One stall was very little. Due to this, I question all my life decisions by using it. Thankfully there was more than one option to use.
I would like to give a special thanks to the person who pee’d on the toilet seat that I’m currently sitting on as I type this. It’s such a hot day, and the wetness helps cool my body.

I am a long time customer but the service and quality are getting so very bad. Typically go through the drive-through which is hit or miss at best at lunch or dinner time ( consistently good in the morning though). For a company that used to be “St. Louis Bread Company”, am very aggravated that they are often out of baguettes at dinner time (5:00). The orders are completely all over the place: several times the Fiji Apple Chicken salad came without the Chicken and with the wrong salad dressing). Kids grilled cheese half the time comes as a small but complete sandwich while the other half of the time it comes as a half sandwich?????). Potato soup is generally missing chunks of potatoes and looks more like very soupy mashed potatoes. I am so frustrated-I know they can do better!

CLEANLINESS NEEDS SERIOUS ATTN!!!!!
I visit Bread Co restaurants in St Louis Co and St Charles Co fairly regularly. I love the food! The service varies greatly from store to store, but the Chesterfield store is better than average.
My complaint has to do with the restrooms. I’d like to say this is an isolated issue, but it’s true for most of the Bread Co’s I’ve been to in the St Louis Metro area. The bathrooms are disgusting! I’m a guy, so I realise my standards have to be realistic, but come on. Just take a look every once in a while. There’s no excuse for the restrooms to be grouse first thing in the morning. No TP or Paper towels at 8:am! Really?! And when was the last time any kind of serious cleaning has occured?
The Management needs to take a visit to any Starbucks in the St Louis Metro. Their restrooms are always clean and stocked with TP an paper towels.

Was looking for some good comfort food, and came here around 10:40 on a Tuesday morning. It was surprisingly busy with patrons at tables looking like they were in the middle of casual business meetings and conversations. I ordered on the tablets and got my food within approximately 10 minutes. I ordered the half and half bowl of broccoli cheddar soup, and half greek salad with a baguette. The broccoli cheddar soup was tasty as usual, but the Greek salad didn’t have a lot of dressing on it, and it was a bit plain. I’ve never gotten a consistent salad at Panera, so maybe it was a lesson learned that I need to stop ordering salads from here; and not just this location, any Panera location. There was a girl behind the food counter that looked like she overall didn’t enjoy being at work and did not smile once. The guy who put my plate out seemed nice enough, but quiet. I noticed the girl who worked the front counter was very engaging and pleasant with everyone that approached her. Tables were clean, drink station was clean, and ample outdoor seating. I’d be back, again.

Stopped in right before closing time so there were a few items that they had ran out of. So our first choices were changed. Our 2nd choices were delicious, everything was fresh and looked as good as they tasted.
They serve Pepsi products.

My food was great, service was a bit slow, but honestly the food here is much better than other drive through options so I can’t really complain, and the staff member was eager to help me with my menu selections and recommend his favorites too

Needs to be deep cleaned and updated, but overall a decent place to hang out. If you can find a deal on the sip club it’s a good deal if you frequent St Louis Bread Co a lot. Their food has increased in cost significantly, but that’s most restaurants these days.

I was looking for something quick and healthy to eat, and landed here. It was a Monday afternoon and the place was practically empty. The cashier was semi-friendly, and made me feel hurried to order something. I ordered the Greek Salad, Mediterranean veggie sandwich, and a bag of chips. I was given a pager and told to pick up my order from the window when it buzzed. I went to find a seat, and most of the tables were dirty with food, napkins, leftover plates, or crumbs. I was surprised because there were only a couple of people in there besides me.
When my food was ready, I went to the window to pick up my food. The man behind the window was very friendly and thanked me, but when I went back to ask for a fork, the woman behind the window seemed irritated that I bothered her for a fork.
As for my food, my sandwich was tasty, but my salad had way too much Greek dressing on it. It was overpowering. I also didn’t get the bag of chips I ordered; I received a baguette. I didn’t want to deal with the attitude from the woman in the window again, so I just ate the baguette.
If I lived in the area, I might’ve given this location a second try, Oh well!

Wake up blt was a sad Sandwich. I thought BLT meant the sandwich would have actual bacon on it, but it just had sprinkles of bacon. It had five little sprinkles of bacon like bits. I would never consider this a blt and the sandwich wasn’t cheap.

Staff is very rude. Overheard them saying some judgmental comments about my girlfriend and I coming in disheveled and using the bathroom to brush our teeth — I would like to see them try to live in a car when it’s 10 degrees outside. Rent is expensive these days, times are difficult. We pay to eat at and drink at Panera before work every morning, such a shame to hear such billeting. Surprising talk coming from a franchise where I’ve seen roaches on the table and mold on the napkins
