Great food here folks! Stopped at St Bess Cuisine for lunch today and the food was really good. I order the lunch special “Curry chicken” with a lime drink. The lunch portion was more than enough, the curry chicken was delicious! The menu is a little pricey but the food is worth it! I will certainly return and recommend you visit as well..you will not be disappointed!

Second time here. First visit was great and food was good. Today, customer service was not the best. I didn’t mind the wait after hearing they lost power, but it seemed to me as though the regulars get better attention than others. After waiting about 7-10 minutes to be tended to, a woman came to the second window, disregarded the fact that I was standing right there and proceeded to take the order of the woman behind me, whom she apparently knows what she normally orders. Took her order and went to work on it while I’m still waiting to place my order. The young lady that took my order, although she seemed frazzled because they were backed up, was very pleasant and treated me with respect. I then watched a young man pack a plate of food and was literally hoping it was not my food. He had the plate turned wrong and all the gravy was falling in the top of the lid and dripping onto the outside of the lid. Of course it was my food! He NEVER cleaned up his mess and I was given bag that was smeared with gravy. I KNOW he saw it and still handed the bad to me. For trying to to cause a scene in front of their customers, I decided to bow out, but what a mess! Food is good but the service alone has now deterred me from ever going back. I was excited because I knew the quality of the food i was going to receive. I’m so turned off that I just gave the food away because I knew i was not going to enjoy having to hold a nasty, messy, plate to eat my food. To me customer service is everything and I think that is the area that needs improvement.

Located in Douglasville next door to Exxon, this little spot is a place I will be back to visit. I only went in to get a fresh drink and walked out with a cup of delicious red bean soup. It was layered with so much flavor, I was trying to figure out the ingredients with every mouthful. I even asked who made the soup. LOL It is a takeout only spot but I did take a peek into the kitchen. It was very clean, neat and organized so that is obviously a huge plus. Oh, the ginger pineapple sorrel was refreshing too!

I drove 20 minutes from my house in search if some good carribean food in Douglasville and this is definitely the one!! Best Jerk Chicken I’ve had in a long time and large portions. Definitely worth the drive and the money.

This place is amazing. Some of the best Jamaican food I have had ever. It was so good and flavorful! I definitely recommend checking this place out. I had the curry chicken lunch special with a limeade and a pineapple, ginger, and mango smoothie drink. Everything was delicious. I was legit sad that I did not get more food at the time. It was definitely worth it and I will definitely be back!! Look at all the flavor in the picture. It was seasoned well and he asked my preference on gravy I do not have a complaint about anything. Everything was great! They did not have dessert at the time but it’s fine with everything going on

I can not say this is the best, However I can say the food was still delicious. The rice and peas was a little over cook but not by much and the meat could have had a touch of scotch bonnet.
