St. Augustine Seafood Company has a rustic atmosphere and spotty service but the food was fabulous. There is limited indoor seating but more outside. The bar is next door in a separate building so alcoholic drinks must be purchased separately. You order at the counter; the food is brought to the table and the staff bus the table. The four of us ordered conch fritters, peel & eat shrimp, cilantro slaw, and taco bowls. It was all good, although the fritters were very dark, almost burnt. (Had I been alone, I would’ve sent them back.) The shrimp was cooked in some sort of spiced brine that made them so delicious, I didn’t bother with cocktail sauce. The main issue with the service is that they completely forgot my order and served everyone else. I had to go ask what was up, and even then they seemed confused, but finally came through with my meal.

Excellent food! We ordered shrimp and they were amazing—huge, flavorful, and beautifully presented. A real treat. The burgers were also very good. The only downside was that we came back at night hoping to hear live music, but no one was playing. Still, we really loved the patio area with the oak tree and lanterns—it gave such a cozy, charming vibe. Overall, a great spot and definitely worth visiting.

Outrageously expensive for poor portions and long wait. The ppl at the counter and bussing around are nice, but the food for what it costs it’s not worth it for any reason. 22$ for a fish sandwich super small and poorly flavored with warm to cold french fries. Not so many places to eat in St Augustine city center so you end up eating here as it’s the only place that serves dinner on a medium-average ok quality, but this doesn’t really matter when you wanna eat good (the minimum at least!). We liked their lemonade. Place was extremely busy. Recommend book in advance or as soon as you get there for the night

St Augustine Seafood Company is a great place to enjoy fresh seafood with excellent service. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcome. We had lunch in the beautiful backyard, which added a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere to the meal. A very nice spot to take your time, enjoy good food, and experience a pleasant setting.

Servers were very nice place was clean. We both had shrimp tacos, both grilled. We had one coleslaw with sauce on it on coleslaw without sauce on it. Excellent both of them the clam chowder New England style in my opinion it was more soup than instead of the thick and creamy, which is my preference but lots of clams and it did have good flavor.

Everyone who visits George St. At St. Augustine, Florida should try this place. Food we ordered was delicious. Fish tastes almost not like fish. The only thing is that, they have forgotten to serve the sauce that was part of the order.

The seafood is tasty but the size of mahi in the burrito was minuscule! I feel cheated. Also hoped the Minorcan Chowder would be spicy. It wasn’t. Still delicious but not at all spicy.

My husband and I went for lunch we had the blackened and fried shrimp. The blackened shrimp were really well made and nice and juicy with right amount of spice. The atmosphere is beautiful and cozy. Perfect for a lunch date.

My husband got the snapper blackened and it was so good! I got the fried oysters and they were small with lots of breading. If you like them that way then definitely get them. I prefer bigger ones and lighter breading. Fries were ok. The slaw was surprisingly really good. I did not think that I would like it with what it’s made with. We also got a dozen raw oysters and they were good. Only had one bad one. The yellow one in the photo. I did not eat that one. Overall it’s a really decent experience. I would come again.

We got oysters here and there was a little crab inside of one of them, freaked us out a bit but apparently completely edible! (We did not partake in the that delicacy)

The main thing that docked a star was that I asked for no jalapenos and thankfully I’m not allergic because my nachos had them on anyway and when they brought it back to me after taking them off, there were still a couple on. I don’t mind picking them off, but I would be nervous ordering here with a food allergy.
