This is a great place to go for excellent modern American food. We sat outside and the atmosphere was really nice. We arrived around 5pm on a weekday. The waitress was very attentive and polite.
The food was very delicious. We had Caesar salad and Eggplant fritters. The salad was great and had just enough dressing with awesome croutons. The fritters had a tasty flavor with the cheese, marinara, and a pesto together.
We also had the Spurrier’s Burger and “Emory & Henry” Seafood Pasta. The burger looked fantastic, though I didn’t try it myself. The seafood pasta was very good with a nice presentation. Overall I had a great experience that makes me want to go again.

We came here to celebrate and had a wonderful experience. We tried the “short rib and wild mushroom risotto” and the “shrimp and grits”. Both were exceptional. For dessert, we had the “vanilla bean crème brûlée” and “cheesecake with mixed berry sauce”, and they were just as delicious. The staff were very nice, and the place has such a positive, welcoming vibe.

Service was excellent. Server had several recommendations when I asked and was very quick with refills. Had the halibut and the bao buns. Didn’t love the halibut or most of the vegetables that came with it outside of the tomatoes. Bao buns were fantastic. Maybe would have liked a different main course.

I had seen this restaurant on YouTube, checked Google reviews, and it looked really good to me. Although I am not a huge sports fan, I, my girlfriend, and the group that I was with, absolutely loved it. We were there on a Sunday afternoon for the brunch buffet, and we were blown away at the selection of food available. We were also in amazement at all the wonderful presentations and display cases of awards given to Steve Spurrier. The restaurant is spacious, clean, well decorated, and there’s more than adequate spacing between all of the tables, making it easy to move around. The buffet had fried chicken and waffles, outstanding custom omelettes which were cooked to perfection, Wagyu beef sliders, huge bacon strips, sausages, cornbread casserole, and various small desserts. Darius, our server, was lots of fun, extremely professional, and very attentive. In my opinion, it’s well worth the $35 per person for this outstanding brunch buffet.

Went her for my anniversary and got free champagne, that was nice. The servers were very nice and the food arrived promptly. The $54 steak was sub par, it was tender and juicy but I expect more. Salad was a $2 upcharge, sides were pitiful, no baked potatoes, I settled for fries but really. Atmosphere was nice and quiet.

The service here is very good. But the atmosphere is not what I was expecting compared to say, Marks or Embers. This feels like fine dining on a cruise ship. But I understand why they would want to market to that demographic given the name. Food menu felt limited. Desserts were good.

Highly recommended for people visiting Gainesville for a Florida Gators game! All of the food was incredible. Service was excellent. Seeing all the Spurrier sports memorabilia was a nice bonus.

From the moment we walked in, we knew we were in for a treat! We were greeted quickly and shown our table quickly too. After putting in our drink and appetizer orders, both came quickly. The second appetizer came at a good pace as did the rest of our meal. Our waitress was always available and ensuring our meal was all we had hoped it would be. The pistachio crusted fish was fabulous – light and flaky, tasteful too. Our fish spread and spinach dip were excellent! The blackberry margarita was fantastic! It was fresh and homemade – highly recommend! We were in town for an event and so glad we made the decision to go to Spurrier’s for dinner. Great restaurant!

Was in town for the home opener and decided to have my pregame meal at Spurrier’s. It exceeded my expectations since I was expecting bar food. Wings were cooked to perfection and came out steaming hot. I got the macadamia encrusted mahi and again cooked to perfection and piping hot! Cookies were baked fresh and to die for. Will be coming back this Saturday before going to the swamp. The memorabilia is a bonus! Go Gators!

I really enjoyed the atmosphere. Their drinks are great and the food is pretty good too. We had drinks at the bar while we were waiting for our table. Dinner for 4, with starters, entree, and dessert. It was a little expensive but I recommend it.
