Up-Down Arcade Bar
Reviews
The space at Up-Down is very cool. There was so much to see and something on every wall. I loved the posters, quotes, lights, and the nostalgic shows playing on the televisions.
The two bar areas were nice and they offer quite the selection. I didn’t get a chance to have any pizza but it looked like a good cheesy thin crust. I’ll have to try it on my next visit!
In my opinion, Friday nights are the best if you arrive before 7 (when it starts to get busy). The first 100 people get 20 free tokens and pizza slices (which are massive) are only $2 a piece.
Plenty of pinball, skeeball, classic games, and some I’ve only ever seen here. One of my favorite parts is the gameboy they have running upstairs thats free for anyone to play! They’ll switch the game for you, but Mario Cart is a staple.
But the place was cool, the bartender was very attentive and nice. The atmosphere was great and the games were classic, at classic arcade prices. If you like classic arcade and pinball. It’s a no-brainer. Had an amazing time that, by today’s standards, was crazy cheap. Well if you are well versed in old arcade games.
They even have an old Paper Boy cabinet, which I haven’t seen in at least 35 years.
I love the selection of games and the servers. Great everything I go.
If you’re with a group, don’t miss the chance to jump on Killer Queen-it’s a rare find and an absolute blast for team play.
Up-Down MKE is everything an arcade should be. The machines were spotless, fully functional, and fairly priced. Even the N64 controllers were shockingly better than mine at home-smooth and responsive!
Drinks and pizza hit the spot, and there’s plenty of outdoor seating to chill between rounds (though indoor seating is mostly limited to the bar).
They’ve got all the classics-TMNT, X-Men, Skee-ball, DDR, Joust, Pac-Man, Pong, Mario Kart, Burger Time-you name it. And the best part? Their current game list is online, so you can plan your play.
I’m already counting down the days ‘til I go back.
