Came here today for brunch for my birthday. I been wanting to try this place after I saw duck on the menu u made me want to come even more. When we arrived the parking lot was a bit confusing and it was packed. The restaurant definitely have charm. It’s like a house converted into a restaurant. We came for brunch. Our waitress was very friendly. I was a bit disappointed when I found out the menu changes throughout the year. I was told the duck was for the spring brunch menu and no longer available. So instead I decided to try the salmon for my entree. It was cooked perfect and well seasoned. I usually don’t eat tomatoes but the one that’s came with this dish was so good. I had the chicken liver pate for appetizer and my husband got the escargot. The escargot was so good I even added an extra order. We finished with dessert and was also present with 2 pieces of macarons for my birthday. I love macarons it was delish. We would definitely return to try their dinner menu next.

Spring Mill Café, Philadelphia

Pulled up to Spring Mill Café on a Sunday around 1 PM and was immediately impressed. Tucked away in a spot that’s easy to access with free parking (a blessing in Philly), the place has a modern charm with crisp white tablecloths and a relaxed but elevated vibe.

We were seated quickly, and from the jump, the staff was on point—attentive, friendly, and knew that menu like the back of their hand. Real ones who make you feel welcome without hovering.

The artwork throughout the dining area really stood out—elegant and thoughtfully curated. It added to the atmosphere in a way that made the whole experience feel intentional and artistic without being pretentious.

Now the food? Fire. Every dish was well-prepared and bursting with flavor. The homemade vinaigrette was one of those small details that made a big impression. I had the duck breast—tender, flavorful, and plated like they cared. My girl went with the zucchini omelet and potatoes, and let’s just say… I definitely helped her finish it.

This spot serves up breakfast with a more refined twist. It’s not your average eggs-and-bacon joint, and the pricing reflects that—about $35 each—but the quality matches the tag. You’re paying for fresh, high-level ingredients and a well-thought-out experience.

Pros: Flavor that hits, fresh ingredients, standout service.
Cons: Seating’s a little tight, and the menu leans more gourmet—so if you’re hunting for pancakes or a simple bagel, you might be outta luck.

Definitely recommend for a weekend treat or a chill brunch date with a little flair.

We held our company holiday party at Spring Mill Cafe. To say our employees had an outstanding time would be an understatement. The food was exceptional, starting with the delicious hors d’oeuvres right through to the dessert. The staff was friendly, attentive, and accommodating. Pair all that with the amazing ambiance of the barn that is used for their event space and our party was an enormous success. We will be having many more celebrations at this special venue.

Perfect venue, impeccable service, and one of the best meals I’ve ever had – look no further for your smaller scaled weddings, this place is it, it’s the one. And a big thank you to Ezra, Nathan, and the rest of staff at Spring Mill Cafe for making our day just so special. Enjoyed brunch there this past Sunday. Service by Frannie was terrific. We sat outside on a nice sunny, mild day! Food was terrific. I had a carrot ginger cold soup topped with some cilantro oil that was phenomenal. The shrimp and grits started out a little bland, but got better as I ate more. I finished with a terrific flourless chocolate cake and cappuccino. Great brunch overall!

It was an incredible experience! We live within walking distance of this restaurant. Despite being so close, we felt like we were on a mini vacation while we were there.

The food was exceptional, first and foremost. We received excellent suggestions from our waiter which allowed us to expand our experience. The atmosphere was comfortable and elegant.

We were here for brunch, but will be back for dinner (and many more to follow!)
