This little pizza joint rocks! Used to go to the one that was on Sepulveda, but it closed during pandemic. This one is still open and making the best NY style thin crust pizza around! Delicious pepperoni, cheese is super tasty and nice texture. The tomato sauce is tangy and fresh. The crust is the perfect marriage of a crispy crunch followed by a soft doughy center that melts in your mouth. You can see flour dusted on the edges where it was hand pressed. Total gem of a pizza place. There is sidewalk seating. You can take it to go and eat at Polliwog Park just west a few blocks away! 🙂

We had a layover at LAX on our way home and picked this up for the kids—absolutely delicious. The crust was spot on, and it was loaded with mozzarella, which the kids really appreciated. One of the best we’ve had. Will definitely order again next time we’re in LA. Totally hit the spot after a long flight. The owner was super friendly and made the experience even better—felt like we were regulars.

That is some delicious pizza! We chose Valentino’s while we were in town because of the ratings it had. It is not a sit-down restaurant. There are a few two-seater tables out front. Fancy- no. Delicious- yes. My husband said it was his all time favorite pizza – and trust me, he’s a connoisseur of pizza… We got a large pizza, sausage and extra cheese pizza. The extra cheese makes all the difference. They also have lunch specials so you don’t have to buy a whole pizza. Would DEFINITELY come back here.

Very old school style of pizza. The white pizza with spinach was good. It was a bit oily but better than most pizza joints in the area.
I’m interested to try the NY style cheese then maybe I’ll update my review.
They are slammed so you better call ahead.
Staff was friendly and prices are good for what you get.
I just wish they had garlic knots.
They have garlic bread instead.
Oh also, don’t park in the lot and go to the bar next door they get really mad lol

Food Propensity
Reasonably priced and they also sell by the slice. NY style pizza but it’s a little too thick to be classified as that. Also contains a hefty amount of cheese. Flavor is alright. Service is lackluster. There were a couple of young adults running phones and registers. They seemed stressed and distracted when taking the order. Also pizza slices were reheated but still wasn’t hot when I received it. Maybe need a couple of extra minutes.

I usually enjoy Valentino’s and have gone there many times — the pizza is usually delicious. Unfortunately, my most recent experience was very disappointing.
I placed a phone order for a small pizza with extra cheese and pepperoni, along with a salad. When I arrived 30 minutes later, I was told my order wasn’t ready yet. I went ahead and paid ($37.60, plus a tip even though it was pickup), and then continued to wait.
While waiting, I noticed one of the employees making pizzas without gloves. At one point, he scraped toppings off a pizza with his bare hands and put it back together, which I found unsanitary.
When my order was finally called, they gave me a large pizza I hadn’t ordered — then after correcting it, the small pizza I received was folded in half in the box. When I pointed this out, instead of remaking it, the employee just “fixed” it. The final bill also didn’t match what I should have been charged (my order came to $35.83, not $37.60).
They had charged me for a large pizza somebody else’s order not mine. Never refunded it.
Between the hygiene concerns, mistakes on my order, and being overcharged, this experience really soured me on a place I used to enjoy. Sadly, I don’t think I’ll be returning.

Pretty good quality, but slightly too greasy. I’m gonna go 7.4. Dough was a little dense, but sauce was tangy and not overly sweet. A little too much cheese but much less than other surrounding pizza shops I’ve had in the south bay. Would definitely go back.
