Found this gem of a place while we were camping at Paradise Lake Campground. The food is delicious. The service is top notch. It’s family owned & managed. It feels so homey and welcoming, just like grandma’s house! It’s the perfect place for gatherings, as they have private rooms. We will definitely be back! Thank you Spring House staff for your hospitality and amazing food!

This place was not good. The food tasted like it was all frozen and then just heated up. They didn’t inform us beforehand that they were doing a Mother’s Day special where it was a buffet and each person was $30!! Absolutely outrageous for the quality of the food. Will not be going back!

For 20 years this little gem has been just 30 minutes from me. So glad I found it and will be returning again and again!! It will be a regular place for my family to eat at. The Spring House has a very welcoming atmosphere and was very clean. The staff were very friendly, and the owner came around to make sure everything was ok. You won’t leave here hungry. The Spring House provides a buffet right at your table. The food was wonderful, fresh and hot. Choose your entrees, pick 5 sides and they bring the food right to your table in serving bowls just like Sunday dinner at Grandma’s. They kept the food coming to your table as much as you wanted. My family didn’t find a thing we didn’t like. Make sure to save room for desert! Homemade peach cobbler with ice cream on top if ya like, eclair cake and hot fudge sundaes. The homemade biscuits was one of the best part of our meal. Hot and fluffy with apple butter for them on the side. If you get a chance to stop in you won’t be disappointed!! Easy access right off 460. Local family owned and operated!

Delicious food, served family style. We had the over baked chicken and pork ribs. The sides and dessert were also delicious: green beans, mashed potatoes, baked apples and grandma-style Mac and cheese. The only thing I would have liked was real butter for the rolls

Went to the Spring house this evening for a birthday dinner with 12 people first walked into the place. The carpet was dirty. The chairs were dirty and rickety and the plates and glasses were chipped by the time all said and done ended up being $43 a person we were only offered to Entrées for a table of 12 people Most of the food was called cold had to send plates back to get warmed up in the microwave, and instead of furnishing us with a new plate, they just brought back the same plate with a third of the food on it are a waitress was not very informative at all in explaining the way the charges work so I ended up paying an extra $12 per person to get two more entrées so a total of four entrées I could see paying that price if it was a three or 45 star restaurant, but it is a two at best my suggestion is find another place to eat for 12 people and one child. We ended up paying $617.

My family was there the night Eddy Coolbeth was there. They had children running around and left the place a mess around the high chair. He was rude and argumentative with the server because he didn’t understand the pricing that was clearly stated on the menu. He couldn’t have NOT seen it. He doesn’t mention in his review that he was given a refund of almost a third of his bill. As far as the condition of the restaurant, we didn’t see anything like it. It’s not the restaurants fault that he didn’t understand but they went out of their way to solve the problem and he still went and wrote a bad review. Don’t believe him.
