Great place for lunch. I got the Brazilian steak sandwich and it was great. They have gelato, sandwiches of all kinds, and even slots if that’s what you’re into, haha. Would recommend if you’re nearby or passing through.

To be fair I did not try any of the deli meats .. with that said I had the Veggie Sub ..Fish sandwich..fries ..ice tea .. this fish was a normal filet sandwich.. the veggie sandwich fell short of other veggie sandwiches Ive had ..the bread was fresh but only white bread.. very limited veggies .. no where near a Subway or Mr. Sub etc. The fries came out very hot and were ok. Very limited inside seating..only 2 high chair seats .. a outdoor seating area outside of the entrance on the deck . And a very nice outdoor park type area with forest preserve type tables .. if u live in the area its a decent place to go ..but I would not travel too far to visit. I came from Chicago which i wouldnt do again. The staff was friendly … OQ

Great place for sandwiches. Gave it another go as I didn’t care much for the lady’s attitude working the front last time. Gave off vibes she did not want to be there. This time a different lady, little younger and she was pleasant. Got the corned beef and pastrami on rye, heated up and it tasted delicious. This was after being in the fridge and microwaved at home. Also downed a slice of sausage pizza that had the right amount of meat and cheese. Will definitely be back for more.

The A-1 Burger was phenomenal. I had an extra patty which made the burger huge… no room for the fries which are so crispy and hot! Also love their Italian Beef with sweet peppers. Pizza by the slice was not expensive. I get the Buffalo chicken sandwich most often

I have eaten their several times always very pleased and happy. Took my grandkids and daughter on this one Thursday ate well and had fun… outdoors!❤
My granddaughter tried coleslaw for the first time! She loved it!

This isn’t just some place in a small town. It’s a jewel and it’s the jewel of Willow Springs. I never hesitate to recommend this place. They have everything from subs to burger to pizza and I’m still not fully through the menu and I’ve lived here for 20+ years. Great food to go out of your way for.

A man is playing the slots while waiting for his sandwich, locals chat with the staff about their week, a family is getting their sodas from the old school soda fountain, a pen drawing of Jim Morrison is watching over the resturant. This gem of a deli was an absolute delight. My wife and I stumbled across this quaint little sandwich and pizza joint while enjoying the beautiful scenery of nearby forest reserves. We enjoyed a light lunch consisting of a grilled chicken caesar wrap, the turkey sandwich on garlic bread and juicy sweet peppers, shared a bag of bbq chips and a can of diet Pepsi. It was truly a great experience all around. We enjoyed our meal on the back patio surrounded by beautiful plants and birds singing. A great stop after a day in the woods, or a fantastic place to stop after just driving around the forest reserves. I can’t wait to stop in again and try some of their superb smelling pizza.
