The food was great and the tea was sweet. The rolls are baked in-house and fluffy-good. I had the ribs and smoked sausage…delicious and tender with tasty sides. Now about the decor…others reviews are spot on, past due for a makeover. From the faded signage out front to dingy ceiling tiles and gas station grade restrooms…the ambience is greatly diminished. Left there full and satisfied, but these folks could pump up their ratings with a few improvements.

Perhaps I was not as hungry as I thought because the ribs, which are my favorite, did not taste as great as usual. The beef was fantastic though, the ham was okay. The bread was as awesome as ever. And of course the staff was wonderful and very accommodating. One of my favorite places to eat when I have some extra money.

The restaurant has been around for years but it doesn’t show its age like other places. The interior is well maintained and folksy. I noticed that the lighting is a lot better than just about every other bbq place I’ve been too. It’s very warm and inviting. I don’t know why other places keep the lights so low as if it’s a bar. The food was very good. The platters are a little pricey, but you get to cram on as many sides as will fit on the plate, so you’re guaranteed to have leftovers to take home. An employee comes around with hot, fresh rolls that can’t be beat. All in all, it was a very satisfying dinner.

It has been many years since I last visited and the food is STILL fantastic. I love to taste the smoke in my BBQ, and Spring Creek delivers. Excellent sweet/spicy sauce on the side. Ribs, brisket, sausage are all super yummy. Sides are like Grandma used to make.

So shocked! Food is usually wonderful but the ribs were cold and the brisket tasted like it had been soaking in water all day. I guess it was stuff left over from the lunch crowd. The rolls were hot and delicious as usual!

I’ve had great food from here in the past, rolls and peach cobbler are always a favorite. I was going to order some tonight but call wouldn’t go through, I drive past the place and it has a large fence around it and a dumpster out front. Don’t Know if it’s closed for remodeling or closed for good. I do hope they come back.

I had a baked potato with butter, cheese, and turkey. There was plenty of turkey, but it tastes processed rather than smoked or barbecued. The cheese was very scarce.

The food is good, the service is terrible. We had to wait, ignored for nearly 10 minutes standing there with our empty trays and hungry kids. They didn’t even acknowledge us and explain the delay. The place is basically run by teenagers. Recommend the one in Lake Worth instead, young employees there too but a manager is always visible and the service is great.
