Well folks, the smell has finally been successfully removed 2-13-2026! Went for the first time since the new ownership. Food was pretty good with exception to anything deep fried. The oil needed to be changed in the deep fryer. I’m hoping I hit it right before it was changed and someone became aware of it. I am going again this weekend with friends and hoping this has been addressed. Update 2-20-2026 Fantastic!! Food was perfect!! Thanks for the deep fryer oil change!!!

Decided to give the Pinehouse in Dryden another try. It’s been a rocky road for them over the last couple of years and I saw social media comments that sounded like things were turning around…in a good way. So went to check it out for ourselves. Happy to say everything was great! Food and service. The funky odor is gone and the dining room and bar look good. Shout out to Kendall, our server who did a terrific job. The clam chowder was the absolute best I’ve had in years. Our entrees were delicious. There was nothing that wasn’t top notch. Hats off to the chef, Kendall and the bus-boy! We will definitely be back!

Tried this place for the first time tonight and wow! We were very impressed! From the minute we walked in it was a very welcoming atmosphere. Over the top service for sure. Ashley was our server and she is amazing. She made sure we had everything we needed, held conversations very well and did not make us feel rushed at all! The food was great especially that spinach dip and the rattlesnake pasta! You can tell their food is top quality. Also, love the quiet, calm, homey vibe. We sat right next to the fireplace and it felt like we were right at home! The pricing was very fair and honestly spent less than I was expecting to! Will definitely be coming back here and recommending!

We reserved the private room a few weeks back for a party, everything went so smoothly. We were able to create a custom menu for our guests, the food was amazing, and service was above and beyond! We will definitely be back for parties to come and a night out!

We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner and the wait staff was terrific. Had some special requests that were handled perfectly, food was delivered quickly and was just as we had ordered. Our waitress, Ashley was so attentive and took very good care of us. It’s so great to have the Pine House back open again!

Tried it out for the first time since they reopened and we thought it was awesome! Food was very good, cocktails were great, and definitely get the Clam Chowder (best I’ve had) if it’s available. Courtney was our server and she was very nice and attentive and the food came out super fast! Definitely will be returning!

We gave them another try last weekend and our visit was wonderful. The service was top notch, food was excellent and our drinks were great. Everything is fair priced. We love that they give you breadsticks now too with every meal. We both got Prime Rib and it was delicious. Only offered on Saturdays though. We will definitely be back!

This place I always wanted to try. When it was the Chuck Wagon, my mom used to work there! I had high hopes that the food was just as good! WRONG ANSWER!!! Went for their turkey dinner buffet. What a joke! No turkey out except a very well picked over pan! All that was left was like a 2 inch strip of turkey pieces! Ham was well picked over with about 10 pieces left. Dinner rolls were like rocks! Potatoes was runny, only good thing about that buffet was the salad bar! Skimpy desserts! You would think for $30.00 it would include your sodas! Nope! Had to ask twice for our dinnerware, but I had to go steal it off from another table. Our soft drink order was mixed up! The only good thing about this place was the ambiance of the fireplace! I WILL NOT be back!!!

This is an amazing restaurant, and place to eat. The owners are very loving and caring and passionate about their work. They are kind and work very hard to please there customers! I dont understand how anyone could leave a bad review about this restaurant or these owners. Because they work so hard. This is absolutely disgusting to see that they are working on thanksgiving, when they could be at home with their families and this is the review they get when I know for a fact, All of the food was there. And it was amazing. Why do we have to be hateful, especially around the holidays?
