At Spoons, we value Freshness. Our savory soups, crisp salads, and signature focaccia sandwiches have been growing with Fort Collins for over 15 years. We’re proud supporters of local and regional farms, purchasing much of our meats and produce locally. Our mission is to always serve fresh eats that are crafted daily and never cooked from frozen. In fact, our only frozen items are gently frozen soup quarts that you can buy for dinner or lunch the next day. Come in to savor the flavor of Spoons. You can never get enough hand-crafted fresh eats.

First off, the soup I had was amazing. I ordered the Cauliflower Garlic Soup, along with a half-size Colorado Cobb Salad. The soup, as I said, was great; the salad wasn’t “great,” but it was decent. Overall, I was happy with the food. It’s NOT a fancy restaurant, but it’s cute. FYI – the seating is hard and sparse. Don’t plan on a cushy place.

Great food but wait times are too long during lunch rush. There is plenty of other restaurant options that deliver the same quality of food with much more reasonable wait times. I ordered 1 sandwich and 1 cup of soup Togo and it just took 30 minutes to get my order. Waste of lunch break to spend 30 minutes waiting for an Italian sandwich to be made. Will not be back for awhile. Hope wait times improve next time i visit.

Great little spot. Amazing food with good service. They have lots of options for all different appetites. The food is very hearty and pretty healthy. Overall a great spot to grab a bite.

It kills me to rate Spoons so low. A few years ago I would’ve rated it 5 of 5 stars. Amazing focaccia bread, delicious soups, sandwiches, and salads. I’ve been going almost every week for years. Some employees remembered my name. The recent changes have been baffling. Those friendly employees are gone. They got rid of their combos, and changed sandwiches to a boring, stale, flavorless French bread instead of focaccia. If you order focaccia separate, it’s nothing like it used to be. New recipe? New storage? I have no idea but it’s stale and lacking flavor. So disappointing. I’ve still gone every week for their salads and soups, but the wait time gets worse and worse. Recently, I waited 35 minutes before an employee checked on me and my order which apparently got lost. It happens, but it’s feeling a bit like the straw the broke the camels back for me. I’m used to waiting 15-20mins for a single salad there which is already a bit extreme, and in addition to the lower quality of food Im feeling like I’ll go somewhere else for my weekly lunch. It feels like a bad breakup! Spoons I don’t know what happened, but it’s definitely not what it used to be.

We have eaten at Spoons A LOT in the last few years. Specifically the Link Lane location. We would even stock up on our favorite soups to freeze for lunches later in the week. If this review was two years ago, it would be a solid 5 stars. However, today’s meal might be the reason we don’t return. Totally understandable to have one thing that disappoints in an order, but today’s lunch was horrible all around. 1) They got rid of their soup/salad/sandwich combos for lunch. It was such a great option for lunch, especially when you couldn’t decide between two of your favorite items. 2) The focaccia bread was terrible. Not sure if it was leftover from yesterday or just way over cooked. The entire piece was hard in general and rock hard on the edges. 3) The chicken on my sandwich was dry and completely flavorless. If I didn’t know it was on there, and didn’t know what it was suppose to be, I would not have known it was chicken. I couldn’t even finish my lunch, it was just that disappointing. Not sure what happened to this Spoons location. This was once a place we raved about to local friends and a place we would get takeout from on a regular basis. For the price, I just don’t see us going back again.

We have been Spoons fans since it opened in Campus West. And I mean FANS! The Link Lane locale has been our go-to for quite some time. Pre-Covid and pre-rearranging of front counter checkout and menu changes would have gotten this destination consistent 5 stars every time. Not anymore.

I got my tonsils removed and was looking for a soup place. I had the Mom’s chicken and vegetable soup and it was amazing. The environment was friendly and clean and there were lots of places to sit. It reminded me of a coffee shop only with sandwiches, soup, and salad.

Our food was prepared quickly but oh man, I’ve never eaten a sandwich with that much mayo in my entire life. They used 1/4 of a Hellman’s jar between both sides of the sandwich. The mayo was gooped out of the sandwich into the wrapping, and I ultimately ended up wiping the bread and some of the meat on the wrapping, in hopes I’d have a normal amount of mayo at the end. That didn’t happen. I wasn’t able to finish the sandwich and ended up removing a bunch of the ingredients to avoid eating more of the mayo globs that I couldn’t wipe on the sandwich wrapper (because I literally ran out of space).

The restaurant name told us it was health conscious. And the restaurant was clean and spacious. However Tuna and Ham and Cheese Sandwiches were too plain. They need some greens in them like lettuce, onion, green peppers… Hopefully these changes are made.

I keep trying this place but just NOT impressed. Salad had 3 SMALL pieces of avocado, barely any lettuce (more like weeds) 1 piece of bread, Iced Tea and Full Salad $15+ There was barely a salad. The young lady was VERY nice but for the money they charge, I am not impressed. 🙁
