FRIED CHICKEN ON CHALLAH – what could go wrong??? Nothing!! It was very good. Had this as takeaway and enjoyed the Brussels sprouts and sandwich very much. Can’t comment on the restaurant itself because I wasn’t there – the slaw and pickles were tasty and made the sandwich all that much better.

Had a delicious Beetbox salad at around 5pm here on a Saturday, it was totally empty. I added roasted chicken which was so moist and flavorful. The flavors were great and I thoroughly enjoyed it. We sat outside which was very pleasant.

Writing this with burger in hand because I can’t put it down; it was the best chicken burger I’ve ever had in my life. I don’t normally give 5 star reviews but I had to round up. Quick and friendly breakfast counter service in a clean and bright hipster restaurant. Food was nice but portion sizes differed a bit. Husband was a bit disappointed in his single slice of avocado toast compared to my mountain of yogurt and granola. It was very quiet on a Tuesday morning.

We had excellent sandwiches at Split! I had the Classic chicken sandwich. The breading was perfectly seasoned & crispy. The herb mayo, pickles, & lettuce worked perfect for the sandwich. My wife had the Parm & she loved it! The marinara appeared to be homemade & had excellent flavor with that same crisp chicken. The fries were also nice & crisp with excellent flavor. The daughter ordered the Mac n cheese & she devoured the entire bowl. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone interested in a trendy specialty sandwich! It fits the San Francisco vibe perfectly!

Safely bland American food. Like that diner that has everything on the menu, but nothing worth mentioning. The Bird does a better and cheaper chicken sandwich. Some of our fries weren’t cooked at all. There’s nothing here that the Whole Foods bar doesn’t offer at a better value.
