Spiro’s is a gem in west county. Tasty food with excellent service and nice ambiance, all without crazy high prices! It’s been a while since I visited Spiro’s and now I’m thinking I’ve been missing out, it’s still a great choice for upscale dining without breaking the bank.
Went around 6pm on Monday and while I’d say reservations are recommended, we had no problem getting a table by the large fireplace. Service was friendly and attentive, making sure to check on us and keep drinks refilled.
We had the calamari and saganaki for apps, both were good.. the saganaki was delicious, flamed and cut tableside. For entree I had the lamb shank with rice which was a nice large shank, perfectly tender. The others had salmon, dolmades, and beef souvlaki and everyone enjoyed their meals. The menu was very eclectic and I’m excited to go back soon to try the Dover sole and prime rib.
Spiro’s offers happy hour until 6:30pm which was a very nice surprise!
If you are looking for a nice place with tasty Greek inspired dishes and excellent service, visit Spiro’s! A family owned restaurant for generations now, they really care about their customers and you won’t be disappointed!

My family and I visited this restaurant Saturday evening before an event at The Factory. We were celebrating my son’s birthday so we had a fairly large party. Let me tell you, I absolutely LOVED this restaurant!! They treated us exceptionally well, were accommodating even though my mom accidentally miscounted on the number of people we had with us. The food was DELICIOUS! And, again, service was top notch. We eat out quite frequently so I was also pleasantly surprised at how reasonable the prices were for the food quality we received. This is an all around exceptional choice for a night out. I highly recommend!

Well to start off I screwed up the reservation for 7 people by not tapping the final “reserve” button on google. We showed up on time for our imaginary reservation. The host didn’t see us on the list but said it’s no problem, we can accommodate. We were seated right away at a perfect table. Drinks were served almost immediately. Our server, Shannon I believe was his name , was fantastic. All of the food was delicious from the appetizers to the main course. We had such a great time for our birthday celebrations! Without a doubt my best dining experience of 2025!

This place is a true hidden gem in Chesterfield. We stopped by for dinner and were absolutely blown away! The atmosphere is incredibly cozy with a charming, old-school vibe that makes you feel right at home. The service was top-notch; our servers were attentive, polite, and really knew their way around the menu—they even gave us a great wine recommendation. The food was outstanding, especially the Greek specialties. It’s in a very convenient location with plenty of hassle-free parking. We’ll definitely be back to try more of the menu!

Our Family enjoyed dinner together. Today we celebrated my grandson 20th birthday. The food and service was phenomenal. The lamb shanks was tender and well dressed in a wine gravy, so delicious! The steaks were cooked to perfection. The appetizers are flavorful with fresh vegetables and delicious! This is a great place for authentic Mediterranean food

Another incredible experience at Spiro’s! They have been our special occasion restaurant for the past decade and every visit is just as good as the first. Our family favorite menu items include the Chicken Parmesan, House Salad, Hummus, Baklava, and Toasted Ravioli. The food is second to none, offered at a great value (early dinner deal is insanely great!), and the staff really makes the experience 5 star. They treat you like family and genuinely care about you. Amazing experience for our 19th Anniversary!
From the moment we walked in, the ambience and Grand Gesture was perfect!
Friendly greeting from the hostess, Lauren!
She found our reservation quickly, and greeted us with friendly gestures for our Anniversary!
She cleared space, and made a table for 2, which was perfectly set up!
Michael was our waiter; extremely friendly, and pleasant conversation!
While planning this meal, we chose this place because we wanted to try new foods, and it Definitely did not disappoint!
We decided to get a bottle of Champagne to start, and for the Spiro Hour Plate, which consists of Spinakopita, Saganaki (which they lit on Fire!!!) and Garlic Shrimp!
For our meals, my wife got Pikilia, which consists of Moussaka, Pasticcio, and Rack of Lamb!
I had the Prime Rib!
Then they surprised us with 2 pieces of the Best Baklava we have ever eaten!
Everything was absolutely Delicious!!!

Spiro’s is one of my favorites in St Louis. The pepperloin a la tenderloin is one of the best dishes around. The Greek salad is also excellent, and the Greek appetizers like saganaki, dolma, and spanakopita are also very good. Read a more detailed review on my sub stack, De gustibus.
