New kid in town needs to be checked out if you haven’t been yet. Right off of Mulberry St on N Washington- Spin & Savory brings something delicious to downtown Scranton. Got there shortly after opening (on the coldest day of the year) and were greeted with warmth and good conversation. We ambushed them with questions (nut allergy) – they were happy to answer. We ordered a few things there and a tray of Detroit Deep-dish to go. Will definitely return to try other items.

My family and I have been hooked on this place since our first visit. Their Facebook page brought us in, and their pizza and pinwheels have kept us coming back! Our favorite is their margherita deep dish (in the picture). It’s the fluffiest Sicilian-style crust you can find in this area and always cooked perfect and evenly through. The other picture are their soft shell cannoli, which were fantastic as well!
What made this even better was hearing that they love making these pies to order when my husband walked in to pick it up. Nothing better than people loving what they do!!

Wow, is all I can say!! Delicious! The options and varieties are incredible. The pinwheels are amazing! Truly a local gem, something you would find in New York City, right here in our backyard, but honestly better!! Great friendly staff too! Highly recommend!

My Son and I decided to stop here today and I’m glad we did!! I have seen a few people post in social media about this place and me and my son were curious my son got a steak and cheese and a slice of the meat lover pizza and a Arancini I wish I took photos but he devoured the steak and cheese…the only thing I saw that it had a lot of meat and the pizza was delicious omg love it ! The sauce tasted so good ! Thank you Floriana for the awesome customer service we will definitely will be back i hope next time you guy’s have the assorted box so we can try as many as we can!

I ordered take out. This was a nice change from the usual pizza in the area. It had a nice crusty crust and cheese all the way to the edges deep dish pizza. Very filling great sauce. Very flavorful. The only thing I can say is I would order extra sauce next time because its such a thick crust. Me and my hisband really enjoyed this. Person who checked me out was also very friendly. They have an assortment of stuffed “pinwheels” both savory and sweet. I will have to try next time . The price was also fair!

In no way, is the Pizza worth $4.A slice and there is definitely no way.A pinwheel is worth nine dollars! For another three dollars , you can go somewhere and buy an entire cheese steak hoagie! I just stopped here for the first time and had the sausage, egg and cheese breakfast pinwheel. Delicious! Very unique product. The loft area has a cozy feel when dining in. Staff was friendly.
