My husband and I had dinner at Maurice’s BBQ Piggie Park and everything was absolutely amazing. The food was fresh, hot, and full of flavor . You can really tell they care about quality.
But the real star of the night was the chicken wings. My husband claims they were by far the best wings he’s ever had, and that’s a bold statement coming from someone who’s eaten a lot of chicken wings in his life! Whatever you all are doing to those wings… never change it!!

40 minutes in the drive thru for ONE meal (there was only one vehicle before me). Hush puppies and slaw were missing, fries were entirely unseasoned, soggy, and unappetizing, soda was flat. The sandwich was fine, mostly dry and not very flavorful. No idea why people visit this location; it’s definitely not worth the wait or price.

I ordered this on Doordash so I can only speak for the food, not the atmosphere or service. First time ordering from here and honestly, never again. The mac and cheese was half burnt and inedible, and the part that wasn’t burnt was a soggy, watery mess that fell apart in my mouth, which I found repulsive. The pulled pork, I couldn’t even taste the meat because it was completely drowned in Southern Gold BBQ sauce, but it was edible. The beans were just okay, and also had the taste of their bbq sauce so after the pulled pork it got hard to swallow. The roll was good. The two little hush puppies they gave me, I couldn’t finish chewing tbh. I feel really bad writing poor reviews but just.. it wasn’t worth ordering out for me.

Wonderful food and awesome service. Our hostess Kelly was so polite and served us with a smile and quick service. The manager Jeff was very friendly and accommodating. Kelly brought the food to the table with a beautiful smile. The food was hot and delicious.
We enjoyed the ribs pulled chicken and the Hash and Rice was like nothing we’ve had before…simply delicious! We will definitely be back here for sure.

There are two locations in Lexington but the West Main location is the closest and our favorite. Service is always good, staff are trained so well and they are polite. I have done a few pick up orders and they are accurate and ready when i arrive. It was the same this last time. The food is very good and I love their SC BBQ sauce! The sides are also very good.

Carolina Gold BBQ sandwich was excellent. Cole slaw had a nice flavor and the hush puppies were good. The fries were ok, i would definitely recommend a different brand but they will do! Overall i would give this place a B+

Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean restaurant. I had the large Brisket Sandwich combo with fries and slaw and my wife had the Chili Dog combo with sweet potato fries and slaw. Try their Lemonade! Food was excellent.

Update as of 16 March 2022. Drive through was still very slow processing one order ahead of me. Fries taste like nasty fish, burger was missing everything. Baked beans were ok. Please see updated photo for “South Carolina’s best pimento cheese burger”
Only eaten here a few times and today was my last time ever. If I could give one star I would. Dinner was closed the drive through took 15 minutes to pass one car in front of me then another 10 to request my order. And $11 for just a burger get real. I will definitely give cookout my fast food business from here on out. This establishment is dead to me.
