As an Indonesian who grew up in the Midwest, this is probably one of the best Indonesian restaurants you’ll find. They have the gado gado, martabak telor (egg wraps), and sate padang (beef skewers) nailed down perfectly. A lot of Southeast Asian restaurants will modify the flavors but the food here is authentically Indonesian. On top of that, the staff were extremely kind and welcoming. I will definitely visit every time I’m in town!

Got takeout for dinner. The beef rendang was tough and dry and could use some more flavor. However, the turmeric rice was good. The chicken fried rice was also good but a little mushy. The fish & shrimp siomay with sweet soy sauce and peanut sauce was alright, but nothing too special.

Amazing service and amazing food. It was a shame that only one other person was in there dining in. This place deserves all the customers they can handle! Please please try it is you can!

We’ve been 3 or 4 times now and everything has been excellent and the staff are very helpful. We especially like the egg wraps, vegetable fritters, mie goreng with shrimp, chicken satay, and the rendang with beef, but everything we’ve tried has been delicious!

This was our first visit and would definitely recommend! The woman behind the counter was so friendly and patient while we tried to figure out what we wanted. The atmosphere of the restaurant was pleasant and the food was REALLY GOOD. Highly recommend the fried rice noodles with chicken and the avocado juice (which is more of an avocado smoothie). Both were delicious and the food portions were more than ample, actually couldn’t even finish it all. Great place overall!

Clean atmosphere and beautiful decor. That being said the food is delicious. I’ve never had Indonesian food before so I didn’t know what to expect but I’m glad I went in without expecting anything that way my brain enjoyed the food without comparing it to other types of food. They serve zabiha halal meat. Everything is halal except the giant turkey leg.

We came back to this restaurant because we love Indonesian food! They serve authentic Indonesian food! If you looking for Halal food, this is a good place to eat. A word of caution, it is only their turkey leg that is not halal

Great spot with a cuisine that isn’t very common in KC! We had potato croquettes, rendang beef curry, chicken pop padang, and a cendol ice. The food was excellent and the curry was perfectly spicy. My wife really liked the croquettes with their spicy sauce. We will definitely be bringing some friends along next time!

I had randang, their signature dish. While the gravy was superb and the beef cubes were tender as advertised, you only got 5 cubes for $17 and they were dry inside suggesting the meat was insufficiently marbled.
