Also the fries are fried in beef tallow!!!
The music was very quiet and it was a nice change from many BBQ places that can be very loud and overwhelming.
Whenever I come back to Roswell, I will stop here again!
1st off, parking situation is decent. There aren’t many from what I saw but they’re right in front of the restaurant and that’s right off the street.
Next, the atmosphere. I’ll be honest, you’re not coming here for great atmosphere. I’ve seen worse but there’s nothing here that stands out. Inside and outside seating was available when I was there but the interior was a bit ran down. Cushions on the interior seating, for example, were ripped on pretty much every seat. Not sure if anyone cares about that but figured I’d mention it. They have some signs and other decor and a few TV’s to watch something.
Onto the main event, the food. Another unimpressive area. My company barely ate anything off of their plate (Pulled pork sandwich, French fries, and green beans) so take from that what you will. My plate consisted of sausage, brisket, french fries, and potato salad and the only thing even remotely good was the sausage. Everything else was mid or worse. And the lemons I planned to use for my tea remained untouched as they looked as if they were left out and uncovered all day. Folks were nice and service was good, no complaints there. Food came out quickly too but not sure if that’s a good thing or not in this case.
To wrap up, I can think of at least 1 other place off the top of my head as far as BBQ restaurants within a 5-10 minute drive that’s lip smacking good. This 1 ain’t it chief.
I’ve had food catered from here but tonight was my first time in the restaurant. It wasn’t very busy and the people working there were super chill. It’s a cool combo of solid BBQ fare plus technology like electronic menu and Apple Pay.
The brisket was divine and the servings were generous. The sides were okay and I’m still mentally debating the banana pudding. I will definitely go back to try more things including breakfast.
If I have a complaint it is that they dont have a sampler plate. I would love to try all their meats.
Right now, I have to say that, based on what I tried, this is now in my top 3 bbq spots. I will be attempting to return and try more in the future.
Seriously, if you have not been here you should remedy that. It is worth it.
