Chicken tikka kebab is good. I like the salad that comes with it as it fresh and crunchy. The marinade could be a little less salty but that’s my own preference as I do think takeaway food are rather on the salty side. Chicken is always tender and charred.
South Indian garlic chilli is one of my favourite curries and this take away normally makes a good one. I say normally because I find it not consistent every time in terms of taste and appearance. Nonetheless it’s still nice every time.

Beware ordering a certain amount on a well known platform to get offers. Bought a meal on Uber and clearly stated free pakora over £15. Didn’t receive it. Called up and spoke to the manager who said the amount you have to spend is £22 to get the offer. So don’t take it for granted you’re getting a free offer as they just change the amount themselves. Guy hung up on me as well. Lost customer. Don’t false advertise offers. Never ordering from here again.

A very mediocre takeaway experience. The main issue is the lack of authentic spice profiles in the curries they taste generic. Furthermore, the chicken tikka and other items use far too much food colouring, which is off putting and affects the taste. Needs improvement.

Very disappointed, Ordered a prawn Dopiaza. There was no favour, no prawns and when I found one they were the size of a pea. Overcome with onions to compensate the lack the main ingredients PRAWNS.

Ordered a spicy chicken pizza. Waited over an hour for it and only to realise I had a spicy mince pizza. Foned the shop only to be called a liar by the person on the phone. He reluctantly said he would send the correct one this time, which he did but I think eke needs to have a word with his staff because they are very condescending to actual PAYING CUSTOMERS

We have been trying all of the Indians available to us in Hamilton, and unfortunately tried Spice of Life tonight, and after experiencing many of these shops in lots of towns, had high hopes, which were obliterated.
Firstly the shop had a line of vehicles out front, which clearly belonged to delivery drivers, who think that they own the road, to the detriment of actual customers.
One of these was a horribly naff, souped up bmw, which was left empty with the engine running, directly outside the door, for the full 15 mins that we waited for our food, with the windows down, and horrible ethnic music blasting, which was being appreciated by the 4 drivers, who were all hovering about outside, in a mildly menacing manner, but by no one else !!!
The staff and management, clearly don’t give a toss about the customer experience !!!
The food was just about OK, but the tone and manner of the staff, was truly awful, in a way that suggested that they don’t give a toss about ‘just another punter’
I asked about the special set menu for 2, and particularly about the description of the main course, which was ‘chicken curry’.
In an Indian outlet, where there are over a dozen different curries. I asked whether I had the choice what I get, as is the case with every other local Indian that we’ve tried, and was told that ‘it’s just a basic curry’
How’s that for salesmanship, both from the people producing the menu, and the staff member who was so blase, that he wouldnt even look at me while he spat out the line.
Incidentally the set menu is also considerably more expensive, than ALL of the other local outlets.
We chose other options, and were thoroughly underwhelmed.
Conclusion …… Overpriced, under standard, uncomfortable ….. I will not be back

Can’t believe I spent £35.78 to have two burnt pizzas delivered to me stone cold on arrival. Also paid £6.30 for two 2L bottles they didn’t deliver and the driver couldn’t care less. First and last time I will ever use this dump. Avoid them.

take it they ran out of gas tonight , got my cheese and garlic nan ,very small amount of cheese un melted , just cold grated cheese and no garlic , either they had the cleaner on the tandoor or the tandoor chef is looking for a new job and cant be bothered

Ordered a takeaway tonight as a wee treat from Spice Of Life Takeaway Hamilton we ordered a 8 inch chicken tikka pizza and a 12 inch spicy chicken with extra spicy chicken on top. The order came and it was wrong (chicken tikka instead of spicy chicken) to which I was told they would rectify the situation and send the correct order. The pizza replacement was sent and when opened it was cold!! I called again to explain what happened and was met with hostility! I then got my partner to drive me down to the take away to show them and ask for a refund.. when I went into the shop the man was so rude to me and at first refused my refund, stuck his fingers in the pizza to tell me it was warm (it wasn’t) and tried to give me it back. He stood and argued with me for a while before I told him I wasn’t going to argue with him (and the other 3 men that came from the back) to give me my money back. He told me all future orders will be cancelled to which I asked why I didn’t do anything wrong I only wanted my money back. When my partner then came into the shop he backtracked and told him I was not barred when i asked him in they words “so I’m barred” and he’d told me yes!
I’m disgusted in the treatment I received tonight from this local takeaway!
