Was delighted to return to Spice Garden after 10 long years absence, suffice it to say Khalid has seemingly done the impossible and improved upon perfection! He was happy to adapt out plates to our requests and the flavours hit all the right buttons!

The service and the food were not good enough. The staff look gloomy with poker faces in a wired way. Not even a single smile. Then the food was average and too hot, even though we asked for it to be mild (on a mild, medium or hot scale), yet it was too hot that it ruined the whole experience and we couldn’t finish the meals. I wouldn’t advise going there.

Had a really enjoyable evening. The restaurant is well presented and fairly modern. The staff are very friendly and attentive. The menu offers indian and european dishes. We started with popadums and dips with samosas. The dips are excellent especially the youghurt and mint. The starters were a nice size. It would have been a meal in its self if we went for the bahjees and pakoras as well. The menu offers a variety of meats with a vegetable option to go with each sauce which could be had mild medium or spicy. Plenty of options to suit every taste. I had a lamb pasanda and it was delicious. Beer offered in draught or bottles, wine by the bottle or glass. Very reasonably price meal over all. Really enjoyed the experience and would recommend a visit. We took the take away menu to use on our last night in the coutry.
