5.4/10 Pepperoni Pizza

Paid $7 for a super thin and super small slice of pizza. It wasn’t even that great. This isn’t Pizza My Heart
This was super disappointing and for how expensive it is, I’d rather go to Sanchos next door and get tacos instead which isn’t any better but for $7 there is better value out there

I’ve gotten pizza in the middle of Manhattan better than this for $2.50. Sure that’s a lil different but places like this think a good business model is lowering quality and making high prices and thinking people will still come

I feel bad because the guy serving us was super nice but if you want an honest opinion, find ways to be more efficient with better quality. At $7 for a bad slice you probably sell less than if you lowered the price and got more people to come by

They probably stopped buying fresh ingredients and bought premade stuff to save money then put higher prices thinking they could get more profit with a lower quality slice

Overpriced. Not worth it. I won’t be going back and can’t say I’d recommend it to anyone else going in for a slice

This is a slice shop with counter service and a couple tables. No frills takeout, and easily the best slices on the Peninsula. I love this place and stop in multiple times per week for a few slices. I really like the Brooklyn and the pesto slice, my kids love the cheese, which holds up, but I’ve had them all and they are all good. Crust has a perfect crunch. They also have Kern’s drinks which are delicious and hard to find.

However, the prices are high and it’s virtually impossible to get a whole pie – like, you need to order a month in advance and then they will still probably call and cancel your order. It’s so bad it’s laughable at this point, and I kind of think they want it that way. Can’t tell you how many times I’ve tried to call in and there’s either no answer, or they answer and say they’re sold out, so I just end up going in and buying 8 slices. Forget ever ordering on Doordash, they really shouldn’t even be on there. Literally every time I’ve placed an order they’ve cancelled it five minutes later with no explanation.

I HAVE NEVER BEEN ABLE TO ORDER A WHOLE PIZZA! NOT ONCE! NOT EVER!

I’m not sure if they are under staffed or need a bigger oven, but you’d think that a pizza place would want to sell more pizza, and figure out how to make that happen.

I have been coming to Speederia since I was a kid, and I still haven’t found any better pizza in the Bay Area! Although it is farther for me to drive to Speederia since they no longer have a location in San Carlos, I will always drive out of my way for the pizza. My favorite slice is the Whitestone, and I really like the two-slice special. I highly recommend Speederia!

No frills, simple atmosphere, but high quality pizza that delivers for the price. The crust is fairly standard but the ingredients used on the crust is chosen and made very well. Got the calabrian which was by far one of the best pizzas I’ve had in the bay area. Cheese pizza was simple but prepared very well. Thin but large slices. Would go out of my way to come back here for sure.

Awesome place for pizza! They have a typical pizzeria style and the pizza flavors are very simple but delicious. The Whitestone pizza is especially good, as well as the Brooklyn. Service was quick and the price was definitely reasonable for the amount of food!

By far the best pizza I’ve ever had. Although the prices were slightly out of my budget range, whenever I fancy a pizza, this is my go to spot. Whoever’s cooking the pies in the back deserves an extreme raise because I’ve never had a pizza this perfect. 5/5, would recommend to those who fancy a fancy pie !!

I wish they were still in San Carlos, a bit out of my way but good deal with the lunch special, 2 slices and a drink of your choice. Love the tomatoe basil and the chicken pesto.

The only authentic New York crunch I’ve ever had from the west coast. I don’t even want to write a review for this place cause I want to keep it a secret all to myself. Owner’s hella friendly, too. An amalgamation of East Coast taste with west coast hospitality.

This is the best pizza. If you’re lucky grab a white stone or a tomato basil or really anything. Words cannot describe the authenticity and integrity of this pizza. The owner is a pizza master and I will be extremely saddened when or if it ever closes. If you stop by here do yourself a favor… and grab a slice!
