I absolutely love this place! They have amazing THC drinks and excellent cosmos and tequila sunrises! For the quality of the drinks, it’s incredibly affordable. It is always very clean here, and Anne, Jake, Krista, and the other bartenders are all AWESOME people. I love the back patio area with the grass, and I love that this place is dog friendly. I’d recommend this place to anyone!

Really cozy atmosphere and great service. Excellent cocktails. The whisky sour was almost too pretty to drink! They do open mic nights on Mondays. Live music is always a lot of fun! I do not believe they serve food or snacks.

Spearfish Public House is a hidden gem that I was ecstatic to find. The bartenders are friendly and skilled, making you feel right at home. The new bartender is especially great. The atmosphere is vibrant and cozy. Perfect for a night out or beverage with friends after work. The drinks are creative and delicious, with something for everyone. Highly recommended!

We wandered in here after a day of hiking and this might be the best part of our whole trip to SD! Service was amazing, people were friendly, cocktails were next level, and beer list was excellent. We would definitely come back!

Baller sazerac. The lemon twist was even a nice thin twist. Bartender was nice. Plenty of outdoor seating but also nice dark indoor seating if you’re needing that reprieve from the sun.

It pains me to give The Public House less than a 5-star rating. My husband and I have visited here a few times throughout the years when we’re in the area. We love the atmosphere and the crafted cocktails are wonderful. We wanted to share this experience with a few of our family members while vacationing in Deadwood. I was so excited for them to see it.
We were there 3/14/25 in anticipation of hearing some authentic Irish music. The bartender that day was stunningly RUDE to us. She scowled at us when taking our order and refused to play the music we requested. It was quite appalling.
The drinks were as good as ever but we couldn’t even enjoy them because of her attitude.
Sadly, I don’t know that we will ever return.

Great little pub. The guy behind the bar was attentive and helpful. Good choice of whiskey and beer, along with mixed drinks. Nice comfortable little place.
