As someone who works in food service…I was floored!
Outstanding food, timely and very polite service.
Order had been taken and brought out in MAYBE 7 minutes..and that seems like a stretch!
Very clean, nice “mom & pop” style atmosphere.
Amazing value, generous portions.
I only put 5 stars because I couldn’t put 50.
Update: went back around a year later to try their lunch…had the gyros..wife had a breakfast platter. Was out in like 5 min and everything was incredible!!

Was concerned given disparity of recent reviews of this would be hit or miss. Definitely a hit. Salad and sandwiches, all good and extremely fast. Service was great and attentive to our needs and feedback. We didn’t have time for pies which looked wonderful but picked up cinnamon rolls and muffins for the next day. Surprised by small bill put the icing on the cake. Positive experience through and through.

Good food at a reasonable price. It’s all pretty plane-Jane breakfast foods, but they do them well.
I had the Spicy Poblano & Beef Omelet and the Corned Beef Hash Breakfast. I would recommend either one.
The coffee is watery, but they did a great job keeping it coming.
I prefer Southside to their sister restaurant, the Westside diner. The food is similar, but the service is better on the Southside.

This is an amazing place to eat. Great home cooked food and amazing service. I can’t recommend this location more. The prices are more than fair and the atmosphere is pleasant with good music. If you have the time, forget fast food. Come sit down and eat for the same price (Cheaper than Taco Bell). We need more places like this.

Would love to love this place, but both booths and tables are falling apart. We were sat in a booth that had layers upon layers of tape trying to hold the seat together. Didn’t work too well because I had vinyl cutting into my legs. My husbands omelet tasted like there was sour cream in it? Turns out it was something spoiled. He spent the next couple days with an upset stomach. And if it’s even remotely hot outside…. the restaurant is uncomfortably warm. The service is always top notch though!

Enjoy going here for breakfast often. Food and service is always good. Get the cinnamon roll! The chorizo burrito is good and the salsa is a must with it. Really hungry get the country fried steak breakfast. The fried biscuits with gravy are delicious!

The food was excellent and prices were reasonable. I got the corned beef hash and eggs and my son got the kids breakfast with pancakes, eggs and bacon. The corned beef hash was delicious and the pancakes were light and fluffy. We also got carrot cake which turned out to be the best I’ve ever had. I’m coming back to this place again.

Seems the service and quality has changed. Update, definitely not as good as they were in the past. Most recently sat down and waited over ten minutes to be greated, while two servers were arguing over who should take table 18, and how long I had been sitting without service. Meanwhile two other employees stood behind the counter watching videos on a phone. Hash browns were overcooked.
