Literally the best food I’ve had in months. I got the Ginger Spice mocktail which was a perfect start to my night, very refreshing with that great bite of ginger. Pork tacos are cheap and FANTASTIC. For dinner I got the pulled pork sandwich with Mac and cheese and I had literally ascended. Absolutely perfect. My party split a pumpkin cheesecake for dessert (4 people) and it was a great last few bites and was absolutely delicious. Server Liz was awesome. Kind, good recommendations, great vibes. Absolutely coming here again!!

Found this Gem on the way back from Ren Fair in Sterling. They didn’t seem put off by a deer spirit crashing their restaurant so that in itself is worthy of a 10 in my book.
The atmosphere is very laid back and gives a comfortable place to hang ones stiff adventure sore feet. The staff is very kind and quick to assist you if you need anything. The stum of the bard’s guitar, and the sound of his voice echoed off the walls and I found myself swaying a long to melodic classics like “Rihanna” from Fleetwood Mac.
The food was AMAZING, I mean you can see from the pictures. I absolutely recommend this place as a must visit location if you ever find yourself in the area.

A gem in the rough! Pleasantly surprised at this upscale bistro. Atmosphere was topshelf as was our waiter, Andrew. Stopped in for drinks and apps (wings) and ended up getting an additional dinner to split 4-ways … fried chicken and smashed potatoes. I didn’t get a photo of the dinner, but trusting me, it was excellent. The sauces and prep had a surprising twist on the usual preparation and pleasantly tasty.

I’m not sure about the place when I visited in August it was amazing. The food was spectacular. Me and my wife got engaged and we came here. It was amazing and when we went back for a date before the wedding. It just lacked flair It lacked everything that it was before. I don’t know what you were doing before, but keep doing it. This used to be me and my wife’s favorite restaurant.

Went to Southern Fare in Oswego tonight. Menu all looked good, so we ordered a lot of food. It was all great. The beer pretzels were one of the best things I have had anywhere. It was Cinco De Mayo, so they had $5 margaritas. They were the best I’ve had in a long time. The bartender, Seth, was great. He was very friendly, funny, and extremely knowledgeable about the food and extensive drink menu. He really elevated the whole experience. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone.

We Happened to be in Oswego to pick up some greenhouses and decided to grab something to eat before heading home, so glad we picked this place. When we entered we were told to sit anywhere so decided to sit at the bar. We were immediately greeted by Justin with some water and menus. After a minute looking at the menu we made our first drink choices the Old Money and Blood in the water. Both drinks were well balanced and Justin did a great job relating himself to the drinks while presenting them, this made for a more personalized experience and a great start to our meal. For appetizers we started with the Smoked Cheese fries, they were so tasty. It was not heavy like I expected, and the little pops of tomato added the perfect amount of acidity. For dinner we shared the fried chicken with the jalapeno glaze and the crab cakes. The fried chicken was extra crispy, tender, and well balanced. The glaze gave a spicy, sweet deliciousness to the dish. The crab cake was delicious but probably my least favorite thing just missing that wow factor like the other dishes. We also could have used some paper napkins or wet napkins to go with the chicken. To end the night we had the pink panther and the city of gold drinks. Both drinks were absolutely amazing. Both drinks were spicy but complemented by additional flavors that made for a perfect ending to put dinner. If we are in the area again and Justin is working we will definitely be back. Great job done by not only our server/bartender but the chefs as well, bravo.

Came here for brunch after visiting the childrens museum. I ordered the new flatbread (it was amazing!), and my husband had the chicken and waffles. My husband’s meal was so big he took chicken home. My son had the mac and cheese (i tried some, and it was delicious!). All of the portion sizes were fair and I would love to try their dinner menu when we come back again!
